I would prefer if it were made with some stewed tomatoes or fresher ingredients in general rather than powdered ingredients and tomato paste/ puree as i love the fresh tomato taste but it has good flavor nonetheless

Their ingredient list is small and well balanced, it's the right amount of herbs and spices. It makes my cooking way and fancy. I would recommend it to everyone.

I have been buying Ragu Spaghetti sauce with Meat for years - I've been married for 52 years and used it for nearly that long. I didn't realize that it had changed until was looking for find out if the sauce was GLUTEN FREE. When I read the other reviews it was then that I did realize that it was different. I have always used Ragu as a base and then added minced onion, basil, and oregano to make it to our taste. I don't think that your new recipe is awful, but it does change the taste of what we are used to eating. I, too, would ask that you give us a choice and bring back the old sauce so we can do what we want to it to make it palatable for our families. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not normally a fan of Ragu, but this sauce is surprisingly flavorful and might be a new staple sauce in my house! It has a nice mixture of multiple other flavors other than tomatoes and pairs nicely with some glamor knots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ragu Old World style sauce is perfect for a quick hearty week night dinner. We browned some burger meat drained it well and mixed it well into the sauce and let it simmer for 20 minutes or so and served it over noodles topped with parmesan cheese and some red pepper flakes. Dinner was ready and on the table in under 40 minutes and was so good. This sauce is a winner in my book!!

Agree with other reviews . The reason I am on here is I have noticed a change for the worse in the old world style sauce recipe. It's way too sweet and kind of tart. Why mess with a good thing. My family has used ragu for decades. I may actually need to find a new one if this doesn't change back.

I've used Ragu Old World Style Traditional sauce for years with no complaints. Then I discovered this same sauce in the "hearty" version and LOVED it. Now I can't find it except in the "Chunky" variety. I HATE this "chunky" version and it has forced me to venture to other brands. Prego may have to be my new "go to" sauce.

It was lacking in flavor as I could mainly taste an overpowering tomato flavor throughout. Regardless, I enjoyed how this product contains two servings of vegetables in every half cup of sauce.

I’ve tried many different types of jarred pasta sauces, but I always seem to go back to Ragu. With tons of flavor varieties, I know I can always find one to compliment any dish. Some jarred sauce can be sour, grainy, or even bitter. But the flavor of Ragu sauce is always just right. It makes for an easy spaghetti dinner night after a long day. And best of all, the kids love it. I’ll always buy Ragu over any other brand and recommend it to everyone needing a quick dinner solution.
