I work for a weekly paper and was invited to take a tour of our city's sewer system. Flushable wipes are NOT flushable. They cause damage to city septic systems and septic tanks. They will clog your leach lines. I would like to see all cities join together and STOP you from writing flushable on the packages. I've seen city pumps that have to be replaced and baskets of flushable wipes overflowing. You may say it is not your product, but someone else. After seeing what I have seen I believe no wipes should be flushed. You are causing taxpayers billions of dollars just to keep their sewer systems running and taxpayers are picking up the bill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Cottonelle Wipes, first with the low oblong box and then when the tall white with blue trim 2-part lid. Every time I use just 1 wipe, it has to be re-loaded again for the next wipe. They do not pop up automatically for me. This is time consuming and not sanitary because I have to rewash my hands before re-loading it again. Do the wipes need to go "behind" the arm pointing down or in front of the bottom divider sticking up? I cannot find a video on how to properly load the tall dispenser.

usually love the product. I bought a large refill of cottonelle fresh care, and was very disappointed. the layers kept separating and the tissues kept ripping between the serrations. I still like the product, but I hope this is not a portent of things to come.

I'm tired of cleaning your so called biodegradable wipes out of pumps and septic systems. Who needs wet wipes by the way, give me a break. These things have cost people thousands of dollars to keep their facilities up and running, I say a large class action lawsuit is in order!

A few months after flushing the wipes down my toilets and into my septic system it clogged the underground filter. I had the 1000 gallon storage tank pumped and it was disgustingly obvious that the Cottonelle wipes were the culprit. They do not break down like toilet paper or even close. Do not use them if you are on a septic system. If you read Kimberly Clark's claim for septic systems you will see that it is written to confuse the consumer. It focuses on "flushability" which only gets these things down the toilet but not through a septic system.

Dermatologist confirmed: this product is what has been causing the very painful and itchy rash I developed. Huge red raised painful welts. The ultimate test was when he advised I try not using them; I stopped - a week without and the rash was gone. Within 30 minutes of using one as a test, the rash developed right where I wiped (chose a less uncomfortable area to test it out where I did not ever have a rash or skin issue. In fact, I have never had a rash or skin issue anywhere before using these!) Gave my derm the ingredient list and he was quick to point out which chemicals caused allergic skin reactions like this. Now we know, but it was an expensive and physically painful lesson. I won't be purchasing these for our household ever again and will switch to the brand recommended by my dermatologist for both myself and Mr. Firefighter (his complaint has been that they fall apart and tear now just pulling them out of the dispenser. At least they're flushable, right?)

You have changed your wipes since my last purchase. They are thinner and tear and rip just coming out of the box. They are so thin now I have to use 2 wipes. I see many reviewers are complaining about the exact same thing. I can't believe you won't admit you changed the product. Your consistent response to reviewers has been " There haven't been any recent changes made to our wipes that would affect the quality of the product. " Why can't you be truthful? You have changed the wipes. I will be shopping for another brand. So disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband first got me into buying flushable wipes and I don't think I can ever go back. Cottonelle's flushable wipes don't tear apart easily, they easily come out of the package and leace ne feeling clean and refreshed.

Just like the other recent reviewers, I tried the wipes that came with the dispenser and was very satisfied. Then I got a large refill and it has poorly performed just like others said...won't dispense properly, rips, tears, even between the perforations. Often a tiny piece tears off. I usually end up opening the dispenser and using them that way...totally wastes the point of having a dispenser : (.

The description on this flushable wipes items was that it was hypoallergenic. Well one would assume there is no fragrance/perfume in it because HELLO, many people are allergic to smell like fragrance/perfume. The minute I opened the plastic packaging that perfume hit me. In no time my stomach was aggravated causing nausea. Very very very upset the don't get what hypoallergenic means. DUH???
