Ruined my Thanksgiving

Purchased two Oster 20-Quart Roaster Oven to be uses for Thanksgiving Day. Neither of these ovens worrked. Was unable to cook Turkey. Returned ovens the next day however, Thanksgiving meal was ruined!

Unsatisfied

I bought this at Christmas as a present to the family. Used it and it was great. I used it again last night and it stopped working. My husband opened the bottom to look at the wires and the heating element wire broke. Two uses and it was done. Will never buy again.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this product as a supplement to our camper oven. The camper oven was nearly impossible to control the temp and it burned through a heck of a lot of propane. This roasted is super easy to use and comes in quite handy once you buy the right sized baking dishes & sheets. We baked hams, quiche, chickens, pork loins, and even chocolate chip cookies in our roaster. Some of the more dense items took longer than expected but overall we were/are very pleased. Recommend but keep your expectations reasonable.

Handles are horrible

I bought this in time for Thanksgiving - I needed a new one for the turkey. It works great, but it is horrible for having to travel with or carry. The handles are open on the bottom and are very uncomfortable - especially when carrying a 20+lb bird inside. Wouldn't buy it again unless they remodeled the handles. Quite disappointed.

horrible the second time of using this

I brought this in Novemeber for Thanksgiving and it worked fine but then I went to use it for Easter and in the middle of cooking it stopped working. Food was 4 and half hrs late. I was so upset. I never had a problem with oster products. This was the first. For the lrice i paid it should of lasted a long time.I had another one and had that one for years and was still working but gave it to a friend and brought this one and it stopped working the second time.

Great product!

I have had this roaster for several weeks now, and have nothing but praise for it. The extra height allows me to have 2 layers of food cooking at once, saving me time and money. The precise temperature control can’t be beat. Overall, this is a great product, and one I will be bragging about for years to come.
