Have had one for many years but due to accident at Thanksgiving it broke. Had to have another and this one was better than the old one. Features make the difference.

We bought this for our little caf� for roasting pork. It then turned into our general purpose large cooking appliance. We started simmering beans, stewed chicken, cooking fl�n (vanilla custard) in a water bath. I love the insert, makes cleaning easy. You can also cook directly in the toaster with out the insert, if you need more direct heat. For the price this is a no brainer for small catering or if you do large volume cooking at home.

I have always had an Oster roaster oven at my house. The last one I had worked for 20 years. I needed to replace it. So I bought this roaster oven from Sam’s in the fall of 2020. Here it is March 2021, and this oven has went out on me. I have no recourse. It can’t be brought back to the store. It can’t be exchanged. Normally I would tell everyone to buy this oven, but now I can’t even say that anymore. So I am out an oven and my money.

I bought this just before Thanksgiving and had NEVER attempted to cook a Turkey before. Easy to do, you only have to thaw the bird in the refrigerator, 1 day for every 3-4 pounds, removed giblets and gravy pack, baste with butter, sprinkle with seasoning salt, pepper, etc, heat at highest temp for 30 minutes, then lower temp to 325 for remainder. My first bird was PERFECT!

Works well, freed up my oven for all the Thanksgiving sides. Outer shell does get hot, so you have to have a safe place to put it while cooking.

Bought 3 for the wife as she loves to cook n she just asked me to buy more which means she loves her pots...

Nearly the same size- but not near as heavy- as my 1950's Westinghouse roaster. Baked a pie quite well,and cleaned up easily. Good value.

We cooked our 13.56 lb turkey in this and had plenty of extra room inside. It cooked in 2 hours and was very good.

I bought this for cooking Christmas dinner. Perfect size for additional foods. Cooked my turkey breast in it.
