I took the DayQuil on a morning that I had to go to work, but I was having cough and cold symptoms. I took two caps in the morning and it helped me get through the day. I didn't need to take more until I got home and decided to take the Nyquil and go to bed for the night. I slept pretty soundly that night.

I appreciate that the box includes both daytime and nighttime medicine. Because I know that for me personally, when I am sick with a bad cold or the flu, I tend to feel worse during the night. By taking the NyQuil around 7PM, I found relief from aches and pains brought on by the flu. I was able to relax and fall asleep, and I slept through the night. I took DayQuil at the first indication I was coming down with the flu. The acetaminophen brought my temperature down.I did not experience aches and pains I was able to go on with my day taking care of my family.

This combo pack is an excellent choice to keep in your medicine cabinet. DayQuil works well to control runny nose, sinus congestion, aches & pains, sore throat and cough, and NyQuil is equally up to the task, but also helps you sleep, which is so often difficult with a cold. Both of these products work well and live up to the claims on the packaging. I will always keep them on hand.
