My Husband has gas, rolling intestinal sounds and diarrhea for months. He was not able to go to church or public places that were quiet due to his stomach issues. He had a colonoscopy and it showed a healthy colon. I bought Phillips; Colon Health to just try something and it has totally made a difference in his life. He will continue taking it as long as possible. We increased from 1 a day to 2 a day and he stomach rarely has issues. I'm so thankful this product has changed his life.

And I didn’t notice any improvement in my symptoms whatsoever. I’m not surprised. With what I know about probiotics, this doesn’t seem to be a product that was designed to preserve the bacteria and release at the correct part of the digestive system to be effective.

I have tried probiotics with the l gasseri strain in the past and I actually find that strain quite effective, however sadly this product didn't deliver. It could be that it was shipped in high temperature and the probiotics lost effectiveness (or something like that), but regardless - I personally didn't see the effects that I see with other probiotics. It did promote regularity consistent with other probiotics, hence giving it 2 stars.

Please note that most of these reviews are years old. They have recently changed the formula. It is nothing like the old one. My Gastro doctor recommended Phillips probiotics for me to support my general gut health after months of intestinal distress. I took one bottle of the old formula and was very pleased with the results. I started on second bottle and experienced a gradual decline in effectiveness. That’s when I noticed the words “New Formula” on the box. If you liked the original formula, don’t try the new one. It’s not the same product at all.
