This is my husband’s favorite. He’s used Listerine for years, but has completely switched to the Total Care because he feels like he gets a better clean, and his mouth is fresher. He’s gotten great dental checkups, so it’s clear that it really does protect his teeth. Definitely worth the price!

If you want to LIVE an actual NIGHTMARE, use this product! I woke 2 nights in a row only to find the inside on my mouth was DISINTEGRATING. Just like many others have written, some people that use this product will develop “mucosal sloughing”, where the entire inside of your mouth will peel into worm-like strings of mucus. Spitting them out at 3AM can only be described as horrifying. A quick Google search reveals that this is caused by sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). Anyhow, there are other Flouride mouthwashes out there, so I recommend giving one of those a try instead.

I love this product! It tastes awesome! It leaves my breath smelling fresh for longer than other rinses I have tried. I find that when I use it after brushing, I feel a lot less plaque on my teeth at the end of the day. I'll definitely continue using this rinse!

I have been Listerine since I was in Middle School and had braces. I am very OCD about my teeth and I use this stuff twice a day. I always have good checkups and do not ever have any tartar. I recommend this product to everyone who ask me what I use. Just remember a little goes a long way.

Horrible horrible horrible. I used this once and immediately had a burning sensation followed by numbness and a dry, chalky feeling in my mouth. About half an hour later my mouth started to peel. It’s now afternoon the following day and I still can’t taste my food. We brought this back to the store ASAP.

As someone who has hated using mouthwash in the past because of the buring sensation, this product has been revolutionary for me. I am able to use this everyday without that horrible burn while also still feeling like it's really cleaning my whole mouth.

I am a big fan of Listerine products and this is one of my favorite mouthwashes by them. My dentist also recommends it for morning and night use. I usually also use it after I eat just to freshen my breath. It definitely does have a burning sensation however it is worth the discomfort.

I experienced the burning of my mouth during use, And the peeling of some tissue on the inside of my cheeks although very minimal. BUUUUT I’ll tel you what! My teeth and gums feel so much better now. Im on the start of my 4th bottle. I highly recommend this product.

I read a lot about mouth peeling from this product and the Listerine Zero. I purchased the Listerine Total Care (not Zero) and the same thing happened to me. I woke in the morning with dead skin all over the inside of my mouth. This never happened before with the Listerine Antiseptic product so I went looking at the ingredient difference. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is in both the Total Care and the Zero but is not in the Antiseptic. I can only assume that this is the culprit. Either way I won't be using it again and will be calling Listerine for a reimbursement so I can buy the regular Antiseptic.
