First started using the "original" Listerine when I learned how to RINSE after brushing my teeth without swallowing (around 1964). It was truly strong then but mom said it would keep the cold germs away (I guess she was right). However, since then I've tried other brands, other Listerine products, but the TOTAL CARE is by far my favorite and my "go-to" in the Listerine family. With flossing and brushing and rinsing, my dental visits are easy-peasy. My hygienists and dentist LOVE having me in the chair - cleaning takes no time and I'm done in less than an hour!! I also use an air-flosser after I brush and before I rinse to make sure I've reached every nook and cranny. Total Care does exactly what I need it to do.

It’s good to have options and to try new things. And sometimes I like to mix it up. I do think the cool works better overall but this is not a bad option. Listerine dominates the mouthwash market. I know there’s a go to when people say use some Listerine and they’re just talking about mouthwash in general. I think the difference in these products all has to do with personal preference I do like that Listerine makes mouthwash with, and without alcohol, as I have some patients who need an alcohol free now wash and so it’s good to have options 

This was the strongest mouthwash I have ever used. I usually go for a mild sensation. I tried this thinking it would be in the lighter side but boy was I wrong. I didn’t like the burning part but afterwards it was okay. ( for me it lasted approx a minute). It does make your mouth feel cleaner and fresher.

It took me 6 weeks to figure out this mouthwash was making my skin itch from face to neck and down my arms. Lips blistered and would not heal. Used correctly in very small amounts. 2 days without it and skin is going back to normal and the itching has stopped.

I'm genuinely impressed. In the past, I've found many mouthwashes to be a bit too intense, but this one truly lives up to its "milder taste" promise. It's much more comfortable to use than other formulas I've tried, without that overwhelming burn. What really stands out is how long the clean, fresh feeling lasts-it easily takes me through the day. The biggest selling point for me, though, is the convenience. Knowing that I'm getting 10 distinct benefits, from strengthening enamel to protecting against germs, all in one bottle is a fantastic bonus. It simplifies my morning routine, which I really appreciate. The only issue I found is that even though the formula is alcohol free, it does leave my mouth feeling slightly dry for a few minutes after rinsing, but it's not major and fades quickly. Overall, this is a great product. If you're looking for an effective, all in one mouthwash that delivers lasting results without the harshness, I would definitely recommend!

Works pretty well. I prefer other products as this always left a weird film in my mouth. I will say this though, if you are trying to get rid of bad breath please for the love of god do yourself a favor and brush, then FLOSS, then mouthwash. Works every time.

This product is great. For many years, I've either just brushed my teeth and flossed, or also used another company's mouthwash. Since using Listerine Total Care, my breath is fresher, my mouth feels cleaner, and I've even noticed that stains on my teeth from years of smoking have been reduced and my teeth are now more white. This is easily the best dental care product I've ever bought. Highly recommended - never again will I go a day without using Listerine Total Care twice a day.

I was almost not going to try it because of all the negative reviews. However, this was given to me by my dentist, so what the hey. It was free. I'm glad I gave it a chance. Pleasant flavor and aftertaste. A crisp, clean dentist-y feeling. I'm going to start using it regularly along with my oil-pulling. :)

I've been using Listerine Total Care for less than a week, but I think that's long enough for me to know how I feel about this product. In fact, I'm only here because I wanted to see if anyone else was raving about this mouthwash. I purchased this product purely by chance, and only because it was on sale for $5. I figured I was getting a quality mouthwash at a good price. I tried it for the first time before going to bed. Yes, it does burn. I'm sure that's just an indication of how powerful this product is. I noticed almost immediately that my mouth felt cleaner than usual. But what really surprised me was that, upon waking the next morning, I noticed that I didn't have the usual case of morning breath. I didn't make the connection for a few seconds, and then I remembered that I had used the new product the night before. I highly recommend Listerine Total Care. Again, it does burn while I'm using it. But who cares? It's the best mouthwash I've ever found, and I will gladly put up with some slight discomfort for 2 minutes every day in order to have the cleanest mouth I've ever had.
