Not a huge fan of desitin, but I do prefer the purple tube over the blue. It gets the job done when I'm in a pinch or nothing else seems to help.

THIS is cream you must have if you have a child in diapers. It’s super thick , adds immediate relief and isn’t phased when baby uses their diaper.
