I still like to use the regular Desitin, but this is good for temporary use. My baby had diaper rash and several diaper rash creams were not clearing it up. The desitin maximum strength cleared up the diaper rash in just a couple of days. It’s harder to wipe off, but it does work.

This saved my son's bottom!! My son started getting terrible diaper rash around 3 months old. I had used A&D and it stopped working, then tried Buttpaste, it didn't work either. Our pediatrician even prescribed medications - nothing worked! The rash would almost clear and then come right back. After three months of this, I grabbed this on a whim. IT WORKED! And not only that, the rash hasn't come back! Highly, highly recommended!

My go to for those bad diaper rashes ! I would suggest to any mom ! I have bought this for all three of my babies ! There are no cons really but pricing wish that there would be more product for what u pay for . But when you find something that works you don’t want to change .

This is my go to diaper cream! Slightly stronger than the original and yet it's the same price! The only downfall is it can be messy, though that's less the product or company's fault and more cause the product is a diaper rash cream. They're all pretty messy.

Love this product however extremely upset that its 16oz can is getting pulled from store shelves. Would recommend however if your child gets rashes often as mind does, there are better alternatives instead of buying the now pushed 4 oz tubes that are over priced compared to the 16oz can that was offered before!

I use the maximum strength when it comes to my 2 year old. He has a sensitive bum. If his duaper is even left on a second after he finishes he will have a diaper rash. And this ointment helps out with his baby rash. It doesn't have strong smell. I definitely recommend it to all the mamas out there.

I absolutely love this butt cream! My daughter has super sensitive skin, so sometimes she gets very stubborn diaper rashes. Design Maxium Strength diaper rash cream heals her diaper rash within hours of applying it. It doesn't have a strong odor and is soothing on my LO's behind.

I use Desitin on myself for skin irritation and I have noticed a change in the product with a newest label. It's not as thick as it used to be for sticking to your skin better without rubbing off so easily. It works more like the daily type for the thickness of the cream. I have read other reviews who feel the same way from Walmart and Sam's Club. I have seen online for BuyBuy Baby company that they sell the product with the older label with a picture of a baby on it and it clearly says "orginal paste" but on the new label, its nowhere to be found. Did something change in the formula cream for the Maximum strength?? If so, can the "orginal paste" version strength for maximum strength come back on the shelves with the older formula to make customers happy and satisfied once again???

I love desitin baby rash cream. Every time my son had/has a rash, I clean his bum and wait for it to dry and apply a nice thick layer and the rash is gone in an hour! It's insane! It definetley exceeded my expectations! I have already recommended it to every mother that i know. 

We raised 3 kids in the 90s and have always sworn by Desitin as the unquestionably best diaper ointment. Our babies never had diaper rash for very long, if at all. But now we have a grandson, and he screams when we put Desitin on! So my wife and I checked, and it turns out Desitin changed the formula! It used to contain cod liver oil, which smelled fishy of course, but the old Desitin was unbeatable. They may have changed other ingredients as well. This new Desitin is horrible. It doesn't adhere to the skin or provide a barrier to wetness like the old one. Our grandson hates it. He won't let us come near him with it. Do some research; There are better products out there.
