I have survived my twins' first three years of life partly because of the big tubs of maximum strength desitin. I love it and think it's such a great product however I have been so bummed that it is impossible to find now in the big containers. I go through the little tubes so fast and it's such a pain to open and close the top when your kid is squirming around. I have gotten the regular strength tubs since I haven't been able to find the maximum strength but don't find it to be very effective as it is not thick like the maximum strength and don't feel it really makes diaper rash much better or prevents it as well. Now with a new baby at home I'm really hoping the tubs of maximum strength are brought back!! Thank you!

As a first time parent, you will need this. I tried all these newer diaper creams which are good but my mom used to use this same brand on us as kids! Our little one developed a really bad diaper rash and we tried the Desitin, and her diaper rash was almost gone the next morning and was entirely gone with a couple of days.

This is hands down the best diaper cream I've ever used. I've tried everything before, but after a horrible rash that landed my son in a doctor's office, they recommended this to me and it cleared his rash up in 2 days! Within a few hours he was back to being comfortable again.

Not the Desitin I used in the 60s on my kids and my daughter used in the 80s on her kids. This Maximum Strength washes right off with urine and leaves no barrier. We miss the heavier fromula with more cod liver oil and lasting barrier. We bought the new Desitin Maximum Strength for our new great granddaughter based on our experience. Very disappointed.

This is a lifesaver. When my babies got diaper rash, I applied it at night and it usually looks better in the morning. When they have diarrhea and needs to change the diapers quickly, it helps to add Vaseline with the Desitin cream. It really helps to keep it on the bum instead of sticking to the diaper.

This diaper rash cream is hands down the best ! Anytime one of my daughters starts to get a diaper rash I put this on with each diaper change and it goes away usually within a couple days . Now this stuff right here is a must. If u have a child in diapers BUY THIS I am not even kidding. It forms a barrier between your babies tender skin and the diaper. It truly does prevent diaper rash & helps to heal it when a rash does appear. It's a terrific invention I have used it with all 3 of my kids. 

We have used quite the verity of butt paste for our little one especially as a new born however desitin is the one diaper rash paste that I think works well every-time and helps easy the pain/redness for your little one the best. This is something I think every parent should always have on hand in the diaper bag.

The absolute best diaper rash ointment out there. By the next diaper change redness is completely gone and the pain and irritation seems to be gone, as my little one, doesn't complain when I change their diaper. Easily affordable, and most drugstores carry it.
