I have been using Sensodyne Extra Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth and Cavity Prevention for 1 week now. I am following the directions of brushing twice daily (once in the morning and once at night). I have issues with eating ice cream, drinking cold things with ice and rinsing my mouth out with cold water after brushing my teeth. I had high hopes for this toothpaste, but nothing seems to have changed regarding my sensitivity. It is still painful to rinse with cold water and eat anything cold. Maybe I need to wait longer than a week for it to start taking effect, but as of now, I see no change. The toothpaste itself is all white and a nice mild minty flavor. It seems to clean my teeth very well. On the back of the toothpaste tube, it indicates it has the maximum FDA sensitivity active ingredient, which is Potassium nitrate 5%. The other active ingredient is Sodium fluoride 0.15% w/ fluoride ion (for anticavity). It states the uses are: builds increasing protection against painful sensitivity of the teeth to cold, heat, acids, sweets, or contact and aids in the prevention of dental cavities.

If you have sensitive teeth but still want a brighter smile, Sensodyne Advanced Whitening Plus is a great choice! It provides gentle yet effective whitening while helping to relieve and protect against tooth sensitivity. I love how fresh and clean my mouth feels after using it, and it doesn’t cause irritation like some other whitening toothpastes. While the whitening effect is gradual rather than instant, it’s worth it for those who need a gentle formula that strengthens enamel and keeps sensitivity in check. Definitely a great daily toothpaste for a healthier, brighter smile!

Simple packaging, easy twist off cap. If you’re looking for a good whitening toothpaste without the sensitivity this one is great! Gives you that same good minty after feeling without any zings. I have more sensitivity with just whitening products but I love to use them so I’m glad I found this product. The texture is just a white normal paste. The cost is great for the effectiveness you get from it.

I have really sensitive teeth so finding a toothpaste that didn’t make that worse was harder than you’d think, but thankfully I found this! It’s decently priced and I use it every time I brush my teeth, I’ve even noticed a huge decrease in my teeth’s sensitivity since using it

I’ve been using this toothpaste for years. Sometimes I go for the regular Sensodyne and sometimes I use the extra whitening version. This toothpaste has helped tremendously with my sensitivity, especially when I use whitening gels in my trays. I will always repurchase Sensodyne.

Fabulous toothpaste AND TREATMENT when your teeth are sore from overly "citrusy" and/or whiting.  I have used it for a few days after indulging in too much pineapple or whitening treatment.  I have also used it during periods of heat sensitivity, etc. and it takes care of the problem in a matter of a few brushes with it. 

This toothpaste made it possible for me to eat ice cream! After 1wk of using, I noticed my teeth weren’t as sensitive & went for it & YUM!! It changed my diet & made it possible for me to eat foods I never could. Highly recommend for people with sensitive teeth💯

I've been using this toothpaste for years now ,and this is the best toothpaste out there it has excellent ingredients it don't taste bad the packaging is well made I've got my hole family using it now when I get to the dentist I haven't had any cavities for years now using this it's worth the money I recommend it
