We noticed that the TUMS Ultra Strength tablets 1000 assorted fruit tablets we recently purchased had some changes from the versions we had been buying for the last 20 years. 1) The tablets have a harder consistency to them that's different than the chalkier tablets that were easier to bite and chew up. The chalkier tablets were much easier to mash up and swallow. 2) The assorted fruit flavors are much blander than the former version. There's almost no taste to them. The former versions had a more noticeable fruit flavoring to them. Given these changes, we're now going to use generic products instead of TUMS.

They work fairly well and although they are still chalky, the flavor is a bit better with these than some others. They do work although not as quickly as with liquid antacids. I dont utilize often but they're convenient to keep in the car or take for  travel

There’s not much to say about these. I don’t like to take them but being pregnant heart burn is like an everyday thing now. So I have to take them an these taste pretty good. Super affordable and will definitely be buying more before this pregnancy is over.

I really like these for heartburn. They definitely work on contact and soothe my  heartburn instantly. The only con about these is that they dont last long. It's about half an hour or less and I need more to get rid of the heartburn again. However, for being so cheap I can't complain.

The relief was almost instantaneous and lasted for a long time, worked very well overnight. The fruit flavors were nice and not chalky tasting. I had not tried before but we are adding this to our medicine cabinet and travel bag.

I used to get heartburn regularly when I was pregnant from my children and these were perfect in less than an hour my heart burns would always go away and best of all I could use these while I was pregnant never have I ever complained on using Tums while pregnant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm used to the chalky Tums taste - the one that makes you not want to take Tums for heartburn. These though... they taste great. And work super quick. I tend to get mild cases of heartburn throughout the week, mainly when I decide to eat fatty foods, and I would use the store brand 750mg heartburn relief chewable tablets, which were marketed as "ultra strength"; they worked for maybe 20 minutes, then the pain came back. With these Tums 1000, there is instant relief and it actually LASTS. I can sleep through the night after a heavy meal. I can chew 2 and have relief, compared to 3-5 of the store brand. Easy to open packaging, easy to hold as well when shaking them out. These Tums Extra Strength Assorted Fruit chewable tablets will be my go-to from now on.

I can get really bad heartburn and these help so much. The results are within 20 minutes after taking a few tablets. And the flavors are repulsing so it’s not difficult to eat. Tums also have travel sized ones which are useful to carry in a backpack or purse.

This is honestly the best product in my opinion. It is my go to for any acid problems I am having. This is the product that always gives me the fastest heartburn relief. Highly recommended product for anyone that frequently or just occasionally gets heartburn. The chewy ones are my favorite when taking these.

I take one anytime I feel any discomfort with heart burn. I love the tropical fruit flavors! So yummy , so it doesn't leave a nasty taste in myour mouth. The only time I've been disappointed by this product was when I went to the store the other day and I bought the big bottle of assorted fruit ultra 1000 and they don't taste the same so I compared the bottle to my old smaller bottle and the ingredients are different so I compared both ingredients to this website and the smaller bottle (the ones I liked) have the same ingredients as this website . Disappointed that I'll have to throw them out and check the ingredients before I buy again.
