Sometimes nothing's better than the original. I had been buying Members Mark brand but when I noticed that they contained Maltodextrin, a carbohydrate which Cleveland Clinic researchers have found alters gut bacteria and has a glycemic index higher than table sugar that spikes blood glucose, I threw both bottles away and bought the tried and true TUMS brand.

I always keep Tums in my medicine cabinet, my purse, and my car glovebox. I want the security of knowing I can get INSTANT RELIEF at any time, anywhere. You never know when heartburn will attack you. Not having a Tums to turn that pain into a "no show" is not an option in my everyday life. I'd sure like to see more $1.00 off coupons though. The store brand ex-Wal-Mart sells their stuff for about 1buck cheaper. I buy them even though I would like to buy origional Tums (they have a better taste, and pretty much work the same. Thanks for lettin' me give my opinion.

I used to be kept up at night due to a "sour stomach" after eating late. While I try not to eat late, it is sometimes unavoidable with my busy schedule. When I get that "sour stomach" feeling, I take a TUMS Ultra 1000 and fall right to sleep. I like the peace of mind that TUMS is also a good source of calcium which contributes to healthy bones. These Tums tablets help with Acid Reflux. I take two in the evening and I can lay down to sleep without the acid backing up my throat. Always great for any type of upset stomach as well. Good tasting and helps with getting Calcium daily requirements as well.

as you get older digestion is not a friend, there are certain foods that will punish you later in the day but went down earlier as one of your best meals, the 1000 mint saves the day for me I have had a lot of success using the mint and usually calms the heartburn"s.

Certain foods give me heartburn usually in the am. Ex. jelly, cinnamon, chocolate. So grab tums whenever I decide to eat the above, and it saves me from the burn. Even old fashioned oatmeal sometimes give it to me. I keep em in the medicine cabinet, and the car and the purse. Been using Tums for years, and you also get a jolt of calcium to boot.

I have lived to be 80 years old before ever taking a TUMS.. It takes me awhile to try something I didn't think would help me. Different friends mentioned I should take Tums when I talked about my burping and indigestion, I thought they would taste terrible. I finally got miserable enough and tried one or two. They really work great and ease my acid reflux, I can't thank my friends enough for encouraging to try them. Sometimes with a pepcid AC and sometimes by themselves. That is how I spell Relief.

I LIVED off of Tums while I was pregnant, because of the terrible heartburn. Its wonderful that its one of the few things you can take when pregnant and is good for you with the Calcium! I had some by the bed, a big bottle in my car and my best friend brought me some while I was in labor! And now that my daughter is 4, I still use them when I get occasional heartburn. Love tums!

Good product but the mail order process was very dirty which even effected the product inside the box.
