I have tried taking the OTC Heartburn Relief Medicines. They all tend to work overall, however, when I need instantaneous relief, I choose TUMS Ultra 1000. This is the only thing that allows me to get relief on the spot. I choose this over the OTC Medicines.

It is just overpriced calcium carbonate packaged to make it palatable. Talking about packaging, the bottle cap design is not the best design you will see. It does not close well and does not stay closed. It keeps coming off, when one picks the bottle up. This design works ok for smaller sizes. Hope they will change the cap design.

Works great as a temporary relief product but I still need a prescription heartburn medicine to keep my heartburn away otherwise I'm taking the max dose of Tums per day.

The only Tums I have been able to use would be the mint family ones. The fruit flavor just turns my stomach. Have been able to get the Smoothies (mint) at my store. Your product is with me wherever I go.

My wife and I use this product as needed. We have tried others but return to the TUMS Altra for the their effectiveness and taste. Keep up this great product.

This product would have gotten a much better rating if you would have kept the chocolate and vanilla flavor. Love the texture and how it works so fast.

If you need immediate relief from that nasty awful heartburn, Tums is your best choice. Also at night if you sleep on your left side, your heartburn will not be as severe. Tums is at my bedside.

My husband and I both use them... I carry them in my purse... and also have some in the desk drawer at work... I've shared them with co-workers... (who are firemen)

I always have a pack of Tums on hand for heartburn, and they do they job every time. It's also great having the extra calcium in my diet. They're easy to chew, taste good, and work great.

The jar of Tums was sent in a plastic envelope rather than properly packaged with bubble wrap and sent in a box or a padded paper envelope. As a result, half the Tums tablets are nothing but dust. Would not order from this seller again.
