You can find Tums in my bedroom, bathroom, in my car, and in my desk at work. They’re a staple in my life to help combat heartburn. I keep them handy everywhere in case heartburn pops up and makes me uncomfortable. Personally I like the berry flavors, but they all have a chalky aftertaste

tums are so nasty, they are chalky, dry and I just cant use them.. they make me gag.. now as far as working... idk.. I dont really use them, anytime I have tried I've almost threw up from the nasty powdery taste they leave in your mouth, yuck! My husband swears by them though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tums Ultra Strength 1000 mg tablets are fast and effective. You know how an antacid tends to be a little chalky, not the case with these. The assorted berries for flavor is a nice touch too. I sometimes take these before I have any symptoms and then of course, immediately if I feel some heartburn coming on. Chew a couple up, wait a few minutes and the pain is gone. I figure these have earned a permanent position in our medicine cabinet.

Toward the end of my second trimester of pregnancy, and especially in the begging of my third trimester, I had very persistent heartburn. Tums was the only thing that helped! I didn’t need to take a full dose, just about two tablets, and within a few minutes my heartburn subsided enough for me to fall asleep. I can’t even count how many times I needed it, and it always came through! I still keep them on my nightstand just in case.

Tums work great no matter what flavor they are. I do not like any of the flavors in this tropical fruit mix. Anytime I have to take these I gag because they taste so foul and chalky. I would recommend this product for overall relief but not is you’re rate sensitive.

I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and I really like it. I purchased it because another brand was overpriced originally but it works very well. It was extremely effective and it felt like it started to work instantly. I was satisfied the product and would purchase again. 

These have been a reliable and great tasting medicine for decades. Now, it seems they have changes the formula, and while the medicinal quality may be the same, the taste is absolutely horrific. They taste hard and chalky…like they are well past their expiration date. I’ve already thrown out 3 or 4 containers of this new concoction, and I won’t buy Tums again until it is changed back. If it’s not broken…!!!

I rarely ever used medication when something's wrong I kind of try to tough it out especially when I was pregnant but I will say there were times that heartburn would wake me up in the middle of the night and a glass of milk just was not doing it so I would suck on a Tums and within a half hour I'd be able to lay back down and catch a little bit more sleep before baby started kicking at my bladder making me have to run to the restroom.

They worked really quickly, didnt leave a weird coating in my mouth and didn't taste like I was eating my kids sidewalk chalk. I did not really distinguish different flavors or any flavor specifically but they aren't too bad.
