Tums works the best for antacid. Whenever I have heartburn or my stomach is hurting I use this brand. The taste isn’t bad and it works faster than most other antacids. They are chewable so they have a little chalky taste but it goes away fast and the fact that it works makes up for that. 

These are a staple in my household! I always have these on hand, because they work. Very convenient and not the worst tasting antacid out there. These always help me feel better in no time when I have hurt burn. Very quick acting and most importantly reasonable in price for the amount of tablets you get. I poop two and I’m good to go.

I've always been opposed to using prescription medications to treat my heartburn due to the side effects, but with Tums, I don't have to worry about that at all. They taste great, they're great on the go, and best of all, they work VERY QUICKLY to give me relief! The price point is right and because they have calcium, I feel like I'm doing something good for my body!

The TUMS Ultra Strength 1000- peppermint, old formula with these -Inactive Ingredients: corn starch, flavor, mineral oil, sodium polyphosphate, sucrose, talc-- were so much better than the newer TUMS with these inactive ingredients: cellulose, dextrose, flavor, maltodextrin, mineral oil, polyethylene gycol, talc. All of the added ingredients are not needed. Also in the other flavors all of the dyes are harmful to many. Please return to the Classic TUMS formula. I just threw away two bottles of the 160 tablets and will try to find a store brand like the old TUMS.

These fill the bill on both counts. All the flavors that I've tried so far have a pleasant taste, and the tablets dissolve quickly without being gritty or leaving a bad aftertaste.

I have picked up rolls of antacids at airport kiosks, and they have not done much to give me relief. When I was actually at home a while ago, I researched antacids online to find one that would give me the relief I need. I saw these ULTRA Strength TUMS online and after reading reviews I decided to give them try. I read that they relieved acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and general upset stomach associated with these symptoms. Well, on my last two trips - I tried them and they worked like a charm. I visited a restaurant down by the river near Norwalk, CT a few weeks ago and ordered fried clam bellies. I was thinking they would be like clam strips I had in the past - but I was wrong. I was dining with colleagues I had just met so politely downed as many clam bellies as I could and slipped in the restroom to try the TUMS with reservations about their ability to combat what was going on in my tummy. I was wrong and I was pleasantly amazed at how quickly they worked. The berry taste was actually pleasant, not the chalky taste I have been familiar with from other products. I am totally sold and have a bottle of these in travel bag, as well as one at home. I put a few in purse for use when I need immediate relief. My son also tried them after visiting a local fast food Mexican restaurant and was equally impressed. Do not hesitate to give these a try - I wish I had tried them sooner as they would have saved me from uncomfortable situations where I presented while not feeling at the top of my game.

While I was pregnant, there were plenty of nights where I couldn’t sleep if I didn’t have Tums right before bed! I give them 3 stars because there were a few nights that they didn’t seem to make a difference in the heart burn pain. But they usually helped!

Unlike other antacids I have tried, Tums makes me feel better almost immediately. And the taste is pleasantly fruity, not chalky or medicinal, so it's very easy to chew. This was my first time trying the Ultra strength, and now that I have I won't be going back and would definitely recommend them.
