I have always used Advil. I can't say whether it works better than alieve but I do have a brand loyalty to them.

it helped my headache for a bit but then it ended up coming back but it does work if you just need the headache to go away for a few hours

I have used Advil for years, it’s one of my favorite brands of ibuprofen. In my opinion it compares with Aleve and does a great job.
