Awful, and then some. Why change a good thing?

For years, since I was a child, Club Crackers were my favorite crackers. Now, they are brittle and dry, instead of buttery and delicious. I fear that the recipe has changed since it is no longer a Keebler product. If the recipe has not changed, then the bake time or ovens or something has changed. They are simply not the same, and I have tried several boxes from various stores. They've changed, and the number of people who think so convinces me that it is not my imagination.

Why did you change the cracker? Kind of odd that it is still called "original" on the box. Harder cracker and less buttery than the true original. Next time you decide to do something stupid, wait till after Christmas. I have a new job tomorrow, to find a decent crackers for the Christmas Eve celebration and drop off two boxes of the new original cracker that I do not need anymore. I am sure the Food Pantry will take these crackers

Poor substitute for original club crackers

Used to love club crackers. Never used to tell difference in product between a club cracker and a townhouse cracker other than the shape of the cracker. Now you can the new club crackers are brittle and pretty much tasteless not buttery at all. Almost like cracker is over baked and dry. Townhouse are much better now Tha club crackers. That maybe why you don't find townhouse crackers on sale as much as club crackers are.

Terrible decision to change this recipe

Wow, disgusting update! I haven’t purchased a box of these in about a year, and recently picked up a new box.  I couldn’t wait to dig into these crackers this evening, but when I opened them I immediately noticed something was wrong.  I took a bite…gritty, crumbly, off flavor. I assumed I must have purchased a bad box but decided to come look at the reviews and LO and behold, recipe change.  I was so appalled I was inspired to actually leave a review. Absolutely atrocious.  I’ll never buy these again. Thanks for nothing Kellanova.

What the (H)Elve's happened to the buttery flavor?

Noticed these were flatter, the buttery flavor replaced by some weird aftertaste. I even noticed it when they were used with peanut butter. Searched and found out they are no longer made by Keebler and are now made Kellogg. Bring back the Elves!!!

Destroyed... absolutely terrible.

Used to be my favorite... now I'm throwing away the box I just bought. These are horrible now, never buying again. Yet another example of a corporation being so disconnected from their product line that they arbitrarily make changes and destroy an American classic. You would have been better off just discontinuing them. So sad.

Recipe changed in a bad way.

I used to love these crackers. I would most often eat them with cottage cheese. Now the taste has changed and they are way too salty. I opened a package three days ago and would normally eat one package in one setting. I still haven't finished that package. They taste terrible now. This will be my last box.

What have you done?

Used to love these snack time crackers and recently found them less buttery, less salty and actually quite flat. Even saltines are better now. Thought it was just a stale batch but have tried on 3 more occasions with identical results from 3 different stores. It's obvious something has changed and not for the better. Will be looking for another snack time favorite and hope your profit margins are worth it.

No more crackers…

They USED to be delicious. Now they are trash!!

Club cracker, what have you done? I grew up eating and loving this cracker. The sweet buttery flavor was always a hit. I bought them a couple days ago and I have to say they are disgusting. I will be tossing them out. Your recipe has changed for the worse. They aren’t buttery or sweet. They are just gross. Please stop cutting corners and make them like you used to. So many companies have changed due to the cost of supplies but you’re only going to lose business.

You have ruined Club Crackers

Kellogg's Club Crackers are NOT the same as Keebler Club Crackers!!! I have bought 2 boxes in the past week and they are definitely different. They are thinner, harder, not as flaky and don't melt in your mouth the way the old ones did. They also don't taste as buttery. I could eat an entire sleeve in one sitting but now I might as well just eat saltines.
