After high dose chemotherapy I developed a myriad of neurological related side effects. My doctor wrote prescriptions for a long list of drugs, most with impairing side effects and not compatible with everyday life. By chance I tried Excedrin Migraine and within 20 min my pain was none existent additionally one dose would last almost a week before I required another dose. I was panicked when I heard it would be discontinued. I have stocked up about a years worth and I am hoping it will be back on the shelves. People who don't understand what us chronic pain sufferers go through need to understand when we have access to this medication it makes everyday life manageable.

Now, I normally take acetaminophen and some caffeine which will take the edge off most times. But this combination actually eliminated the migraine and that drained feeling you normally get after one passes. The three ingredients all help a little on their own but put together helps to tackle even the worst of migraines I’ve had in a while.

Personally this is my absolute favorite medication to use for my migraines. I have suffered from migraines since I was about five. I have tried to use naproxen and ibuprofen to help, but overall Excedrin is the best. I would recommend this to anyone who has had problems with extremely bad migraines. It contains caffeine so it does give you energy.

I come from a family of migraine sufferers so Excedrin is a staple in our medicine be cabinet. It does well in relieving the most debilitating migraines (the ones that cause you to throw up). The only downside for me is that I am sensitive to caffeine so it keeps me up at night. But I’d rather stay up than have a migraine.
