I will say if you follow the instructions you will be good. The packaging is good what I like was the safety cap when you opened for the first time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this so much that we have repurchased and keep a spare in our emergency kit. It does take some time to set in to do its job but it does soothe away the pain without that menthol numbness with other creams. We massage in and cover the area to allow full absorption. One extremely important note is that the main ingredient in voltaren (diclofenac) is toxic even in small amounts to pets so we use gloves to apply to area of pain and immediately cover the area to avoid any contact. If you plan on using on your hands and have dogs or cats, I’d either completely avoid this product or be prepared to wear gloves.

I was surprised it worked on my pain from a 10 to a 3. I definitely recommend this product for pain. It’s also works on the hands, elbows, feet, ankles, knees, and wrist. There no scent and the texture is creamy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously only available by prescription, Voltaren gel is an arthritis cream for your joints. This semi-opaque gel has a smooth texture. It only took a small amount to cover my knee, as you work the gel into the joint and warm it up it thins out and covers a larger area. This gel doesn't have a strong scent - slightly medicinal, slightly minty perhaps? It does not burn or tingle the skin like some topical creams on the market which I really appreciated. I noticed an ease in joint pain in my knees about 20 minutes after applying (which I was thankful for after driving for over 7 hours!)

The texture is definitely gel like and absorbs well into the skin when applied . The scent isn’t too overwhelming. My only critique is that the size of the product is quite small. A little goes a long way, so you’ve got plenty of applications for the price of a bottle of pain meds. It’s got a nice pop of color on the label and when you apply it, there’s no funky smell or stickiness.

The tube comes sealed with an indentation in the lid to remove the seal. There’s a card included in the package in order to ensure proper dosaging. The tube is easy to open and squeeze which should be helpful for those using it on their hands or wrists. The product does have a light scent however it is not off putting. The gel formula absorbed fairly well when following the instructions to wait 10 minutes before putting on clothing. The reusable dosage card was easy to clean and I found that the product washed well from my hands.
