It doesn’t have that strong smell or odor and is non greasy and absorbs easily. Definitely comes in handy to use daily and helps those aches.

Based on all the warnings about not using it on certain body parts and not using it on multiple areas at once, I would imagine it's some strong stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 20g/0.7oz Voltaren Arthritis Pain Relief Gel for free in exchange for my honest review. As I age, I have experienced some arthritis pain in one of my knees. The active ingredient is Diclofenac Sodium, an NSAID for arthritis pain. It can be used up to 4x a day and should not be used on the back, hip or shoulder, but can be used to treat arthritis pain on the hand, wrist, elbow, foot or ankle and of course the knee where I apply it. The gel texture absorbs quickly and it does help relieve pain in my knee after a few days. Highly recommend. I like that this size is travel friendly and can be carried in a purse or carry on bag in case I experience arthritis pain while traveling.

The cream is nice and smooth and doesn’t have a bad smell. It doesn’t leave my hand sticky either. Just wish it worked. Bit better for me.

I normally try for lidocaine since I'm sensitive to menthol, so liking this as a new alternative. But before you could even use it, it has a weird tab I had never seen on any tube before. The box didn't have instructions and had to finally dig out paperwork to find how to get off this strange cap that you have to use the lid and engineer it off..... why make it so complicated?? Finally open, used some on my foot that has been bothering me. Didn't use a lot since this is different medicine than usual. Eventually felt some relief but not a lot. I do have a high tolerance though but would be worried about using a lot since this is an actual nsaid formulation. Probably why they have a dosing card? Never seen that before and don't even see how you would use it.... just mentions difference of dosage for upper vs lower body which is also strange to me, and I have medical training...

Sometimes one of my knees hurts when I do my daily walks or do weight training, or when it rains (just like my grandma's, lol!) and this gel really helps! It dries fast, is clear, and doesn't leave you smelling like medicine. Worth the try!
