However, for more severe pain, it doesn’t always provide enough relief, and I need to reapply it as directed to maintain effectiveness. The texture is very smooth and does not have a bad smell to it. I think it is definitely worth the money if you have a lot of arthritis pain. It doesn't do much for othet types of plain like cramps or sport injuries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to borrow my mother in laws Voltaren arthritis reliever but I can now get my own. I love that it’s over the counter and comes with the original prescription strength. The flip top is very easy to open.

This stuff smells like rubbing alcohol and it’s pretty strong but does dissipate pretty quickly. I can’t speak for its efficacy yet because I have only used it twice and it’s not something that works instantly. But it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin so that’s a plus!

I hurt my knee about a year ago. The injury has healed but I now suffer with the lasting arthritic pain which can keep me up at night. I tried Voltaren arthritis pain relief cream and all I can say is that it really helped me. Voltaren is a clear non greasy gel which does not sting or burn. It provides a soothing warm relief when you apply it to an area. The package has a dosing guide which is very helpful. I liked that I could use it 4 times per day and it has a very pleasant smell. And it actually helped me with my pain. Finally something that does not smell bad or burn and that actually works.

The cream goes on smooth and is not greasy and absorbs nice onto the application area. My partner used this product on their knees and elbows and it was very fast acting pain relief. It’s also the first Rx-strength OTC topical NSAID gel. It’s a great product that is very reasonably priced. I will be purchasing more for them and would recommend folks experiencing arthritis pain to try it as well.

Voltaren arthritis pain gel is is a great alternative to using an oral medication that can cause G.I. upset. It gives you relief from the pain without some of the unwanted side effects. It’s also super easy to use and doesn’t require swallowing a pill. I have used prescription strength forms of this medication in the past and I really like that you can get Voltaren over-the-counter without a prescription. I would definitely recommend to anyone that has joint pain as long as they are able to use NSAIDS.
