The scent isn't to strong or have a horrible strong medicine smell like other gels do and it doesn't leave you feeling sticky or leave your skin feeling dry. I would definitely recommend those with arthritis and needing relieve from time to time to give this product a try. I know I will be buying more of this and making sure I always have one stocked in my medicine cabinet at all times.

Voltaren stepped up to the plate, and within a few days, my aches were feeling less bothersome. If you are allergic to aspirin or cannot use it, DO NOT try this as the active ingredient is diclofenac sodium, an NSAID anti-inflammatory. This formula is exclusively for use on wrists, elbows, ankles, hands, and feet. The box even has a handy guide for how large of an application area you should put on an upper or lower body part. The cream says it can take up to 7 days to work, but I noticed some relief in the first day. It also says do not use for over 21 days, I'm guessing due to the active ingredient. The gel goes a long way, so only squeeze out a little until you know how much you'll need. I had excess every time. My stubborn husband tried it to appease me, not expecting it to work, and it worked beautifully on his painful ankle and had him saying, "Oh, dang." This will be a repurchase for us.

I found the Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel to have rather complex directions and it is not safe for all areas of pain. It is important to read all the instructions. It can take several applications to get any relief and you can not use this long term. I did not get any fast relief from this, after several days it does seem to help with joint discomfort.
