This is only for arthritic prone areas and not meant for back pain. It definitely help and would be an item I’d be recircling again to purchase come the need arises. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading all of the very intense instructions on the box, I was a little worried about how well this Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel would work for my hand and knee. The box has a ton of information on how to properly "dose" your various affected body areas and even includes a "dosing card" to use before every application. The cream comes out of the tube easily with not too much squeezing, and with the dosing card, it was pretty simple to know how much was the appropriate dose for my hand or my knee. You can use it multiple times per day (per the box instructions), and the cream soaks in after a few minutes well enough to not worry about transferring onto clothing. It took a few days before I noticed a real difference in my pain level and ability to use my hand and knee. But I feel confident that this can be a good way to minimize my suffering during flareups and between doctor appointments.

The tube makes it easy to squeeze out just the amount you need. Highly recommend for anyone experiencing pain.

The side effects are kind of concerning ants. The relief is not a mediate if you cannot use ibuprofen I guess it would be a great product if you can remember to continue to use it if you don’t need it.
