It also works well for my leg and knee which have metal in them, as it doesn't give that super cold feeling. However it only helps a little bit. So this is not for people with high pain. I had never tried a gel or topical cream or anything like that for arthritis, but actually helpful though. There’s somewhat of a warming sensation when you apply it, which feels kind of nice when you’re having arthritis pain.

The texture is very smooth and does not have a bad smell to it. I think it is definitely worth the money if you have a lot of arthritis pain. It doesn't do much for othet types of plain like cramps or sport injuries.

When it flares up, it can last for several days or longer, so I thought I'd give Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel a try instead of my usual remedies. I used as directed 4 times a day on my entire foot for a week, but felt little relief on my toe. The directions also state you need to use it for 7 days in a row for full relief, but not to exceed 21 days of usage at a time. In my opinion, this is not the right treatment for either occasional flare ups or long-term use based on these guidelines.

There isn’t not scent that’s strong like other pain gels . It absorbs good and doesn’t stain your clothes if it gets on. I would buy my mom more once she finishes this one and it’s good value for your money.
