I found the Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel to have rather complex directions and it is not safe for all areas of pain. It is important to read all the instructions. It can take several applications to get any relief and you can not use this long term. I did not get any fast relief from this, after several days it does seem to help with joint discomfort.

I like the icy hot spray a little better, just due to the spray application. Otherwise I would prefer Voltaren.

I use this gel for my arches & wrists. It helps when I put it on at night & everything feels better by morning. My only complaint is the consistency of the product. No matter how careful I am, it comes out of the tube so easily that it drips all over my clothes, my carpet & my bed before I can get it rubbed in. Very annoying to have to clean up after. The new cap is very easy to use.

The gel form helps it to absorb quickly. I like that it doesn’t have a super strong smell like some other similar products. The large tube should last a long time. A dosing card is included so you are applying the correct amount. Would recommend.
