Voltaren really works. I have been using it for several years. At first it was a prescription in pill form then the Dr changed it to the gel form. Then I was able to buy it without a prescription. I have major back and knee problems with arthritis. This helps so much and keeps me from having to take pain medication. It goes directly to the parts that are hurting. I recommend it highly.

My doctor prescribed this for a cervical hernia for myself and knee pain for my grandmother. We’ve used this gel on knees, backs, necks and feet. Works quickly and effectively. Instead of taking oral NSAIDS, using this saves stomach upset, kidneys and more. 10/10!

I am not allowed oral anti inflammatory meds any more yet have wrist and shoulder issues. Voltaren gel is helpful in calming down the painful inflammation; better in the wrists than shoulder, easier access to joints. Oral meds work better but in their absence I have not found anything that works as well.

My husband has significant pain from arthritis and spinal stenosis, and this medication really makes a difference. Don’t put it on expecting it to be immediate relief, it’s a long term usage. And you may think how this doesn’t help but after you’ve used it and then go off of it you really notice the pain increase.

The cream has been a lifesaver as I have gotten older and certain areas of the body have gotten new pain or more pain. It's helped me a lot to keep walking after a meniscus was removed from a knee, hip joints have aged with arthritis and a wrist with occasional pain after falling on ice. I have used this up to 4 times in a day on really bad days that are really painful. Those days seem to follow weather changes moving in or high humidity. While this is expensive I have finally made peace that the cream has given me the ability to get out and walk the dog, do daily living chores more easily and help with some of the lawn chores along with a lot of garden puttering. That is totally worth it. At 70, I want to keep moving around and not see the the doctor for the type of pain I get. I appreciate the 2 larger tubes and a smaller one to tuck in a purse or if traveling for a very short time. Now, getting the tubes out of that plastic? Well, that is another story. The only bad thing about this product is it is a cream vs. a roll on so after application you must wash your hands thoroughly. However, it gives you the option to really massage the cream into the area which also aids in the pain reduction.

My orthopedist recommended Voltaren as an alternative to knee replacement as most of my pain was from arthritis. I've been purchasing the generic brand due to cost of the medication. With Sam's club prices, its more cost efficient to buy the Voltaren and that was before i found out the box in the middle of the tubes contained a travel size.

Votaren seldom provides instant relief, but if use according to directions the pain reduction is gradual, but then you suddenly stop using it, you will find out how much good it will do you. Not a great med for those seeking instant relief or who have trouble using meds on a consistent frequent basis. I love it but it may not work well for everyone.

This hasn't taken my pain away but it's decreased it and given me some range of motion back. I'm using on my shoulder, which isn't one of the recommended areas, but I use the Lower Body dose and it's good. You must stick to the 4 times a day for good results. My ortho recommended it while I procrastinate shoulder replacement!

I love this stuff!! Don’t expect it to work right away. Over time, it will and you’re not ingesting ibuprofen, you’re putting it right on the spot that hurts. You don’t have to be too intent about remembering it exactly every 4 hours, but 4 times a day is important. I used it for about 2 months on my knee(cartilage problem) and I think it worked. My knee is almost all the way better. No surgery. I’m totally amazed!! Just, don’t think it’s going to be immediate. Stick with it and you never know…
