I genuinely appreciate any product out there that will help reduce my arthritis pain. This product does that, however, I cannot understand why a product marketed to arthritis pain sufferers is not packaged in a manner that allows for application easily to those who need it most. I suggest at the very least to create a dispenser for the product that allows individuals the ability to dispense it with the touch of a button.

Now I realize - 1) the pain relief is cumulative. Voltaren had to be applied several times a day, for several days, before it DID reduce my painful thumb arthritis. (Single dose had no effect.). 2) “Real” Voltaren is better than OTC - less smell, dries faster, better tube top. 3) I used to need 4 Aleve per day for my arthritis pain. Now I can use 1, some days none.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have high hopes for this working as I have used voltaren cream before and it didn't work for me but the gel works fantastically for me it absorbs quickly and has a powdery lavender scent in my opinion, I love the squeeze tube and that it isn't greasy or sticky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So it says it could take 7 days to start working. If you use it 4 times a day, it could start working in a few days. When my knees are grinding or my wrist is throbbing, I don't have 7 days.. it also can't be used in more than two areas at a time. And can't be used on your back, hips, or shoulders. Which my back probably has the worst pain. It does rub in well, with no stinging, or bad smell. It also comes with a dosing chart to show how much you should be using an area on upper and lower body, which is nice. This just isn't a product for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Voltaren has helped tremendously with the pain in my hands when I wake up. I usually wake up with sore hands and it hurts to bend them. After using the gel, my pain is relieved a great bit. The package is nice and the scent isn’t overwhelming.

I received this generous size sample FREE from Voltarengel.com. Me and my 76 year old mother both suffer from arthritic pain and inflammation. Due to certain health issues , neither one of us can take oral medications to help relieve the inflammation and pain. Needless to say , we've tried a lot of creams and gels. We've came across a few that offer a quick fix but nothing that last long enough to count. Voltaren arthritis pain gel is not meant for immediate or instant relief , it's designed to absorb deep into the skin and form a pain relieving barrier. This barrier helps provide longer lasting pain relief. As with any medication(prescribed or over the counter)please read enclosed info pamphlet and talk with your Dr to see if Voltaren is right for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed this can’t be used on hips. That is where my pain is most. It also can’t be used on back pain. I was not able to try this out at all. The only “acceptable” use areas allowed per instructions on the directions are not areas I have pain in. So I can’t review the effectiveness at all. Disappointing. I don’t understand why it can’t be used on any area you have pain

I have arthritis in my knee, and this product worked great for it. It's not greasy and absorbs quickly. I got relief from the pain in under an hour. It is a little pricey but well worth it.
