[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Voltaren arthritis pain gel was super easy to open and easy to apply. It has a mild minty scent. I definitely noticed a reduction in stiffness in my knee when applying it there. I did not have any skin irritation which is good.

The flip-top cap is a nice touch, it's much easier to open than the standard twist style. I appreciate the little dosing card that comes in the box, which is genuinely helpful. And as silly as it is, even the box itself includes useful graphics and explanations of how the Voltaren works. That all being said, as somebody who frequently deals with joint/hand pain, I don't feel like this provides a lot of relief for me personally. It's better than nothing, and maybe other people will get more use out of it than I do. But it just feels a bit weak for me, and the benefits wear off quickly (the box does say to reapply 4 times a day). I feel like an extra-strength version of this would be significantly more helpful, and I can only recommend this to people who are experiencing minor pain/discomfort (but again, your mileage may vary, it's definitely worth trying but maybe look for an inexpensive generic alternative first). As an alternative, I personally prefer products with numbing agents like menthol (Icy-Hot or Biofreeze for example) which provide more noticeable, longer-lasting relief.

This topical pain gel has given me some relief, though it may take up to several weeks to feel it's full effects.

He applied it to his hands at the onset of discomfort. The tube is easy to use. He said he felt some relief but still prefers his CBD creams as well as oral pain medication. It’s nice to have on hand in a pinch though.

It smell like kind of like the jergens cherry almond lotion. It absorbs fast into the skin. It does contains diclofenac so be careful if you’re trying to avoid that or is allergic to that.
