Unlike other arthritis ointments, it has a mild odor and does not have that burning effect when you actually put it on. It has a soft texture and is very easy to apply. The effect is long-lasting and strong. It is not felt immediately but is very comfortable and long-lasting. The packaging is very good because it is discreet and very easy to carry with me. In my opinion, the price is worth it. People with arthritis know that it is worth it.

The gel glides on smoothly and doesn’t have an oppressive scent like some other pin creams. In terms of efficacy, it does help but not as much as other medications I’ve tried. Again, it’s a no e alternative to medication and I will definitely be using it.

Arthritis runs in my family and we're all using this product now. It goes on smooth and doesn't leave a super sticky residue. The smell isn't super overpowering either. It's easy to use and super convenient.

It's hard to know if it actually works because you don't really feel anything after it is applied, and the pain does not go away.If you apply something like Icy Hot you feel fast relief, so this is not like that at all. After applying this and waiting a couple of hours my pain did seem to be alleviated. I can't tell if this was due to my lying down or the naproxen I took before lying down, or perhaps this just takes time to work.

Not only was it effective at cutting the edge of their tightness and pain it also absorbed quite easily and really left little to no scent. The gel is easy to apply. The included dosing card makes it easy to see that you're using the right amount. We both found that the gel relieves the pain and lasts for a fair amount of time.

I received this complimentary from Influenster and Voltaren in exchange for my honest opinion. This is the very first time I have ever used the Voltaren brand. I have pain in both of my knees from years of running and I normally use creams like, Icy Hot, BENGAY or Biofreeze. This gel is very different from the others as it has lots of special instructions and the amount and way you apply it has to be very specific. I used the cream on both of my knees measuring the appropriate amount in each case and rubbed it in throuroughly. The gel felt cold and runny but rubbed in nicely and was not greasy and did not have a harsh smell. After about twenty minutes I noticed that my knees were not hurting as much as normal. I do believe that I will be buying this when I run out. Thank you Influenster for such a useful product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is ok, I was familiar with it since my father uses it. It is something that seems simple to use and helps with pain near joints. It does help ease chronic pain but you do have to reapply several times a day to reap its benefits.
