My mom tried this when her knee was bothering her and it was easy for her to understand how to use it. I did like it came with an amount sheet to see how much to use.

I first heard about Voltaren gel from the ortho who was treating my knee pain. As I continue to experience arthritic pain in additional locations, I really appreciate the simplicity of treating with a gel and not a pill. It’s more controlled and goes right to the source. I like the flip top cap, too. It makes it much easier to measure out the right amount with the guide. Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it on my ankle and helped. Did not take long to take affect. I'd buy a small tube to have on hand when meds aren't enough. Wasn't a fan of the scent cause it smelled like alcohol to me, but that's my sensitive nose.

I had surgery to remove a sesamoid bone a couple years ago and after it healed the arthritis in my big toe area is WAY worse than the rest of my body, like excruciatingly bad when it flares up to the point that even a blanket touching makes me want to cry because it is so unbearable. I’ve tried other creams that either kinda sorta barely dulled the pain or was just a placebo effect because I’m so desperate for pain relief that I convinced myself it just had to work. I was super excited to try this because I was hoping this would be the thing that changes my life. To start I just have to say that I love the flip top design. I feel like things always got unnecessarily messy with screw tops and especially ones with the itty bitty screw tops. It felt nice and cool to put on with a very light, watery gel texture that absorbed right away. Unfortunately, it was not a win for me. I don’t feel like it gave any relief in either areas, not even temporarily. I used it as directed, 4 times a day for 7 days and it really didn’t do anything. I was so disappointed because I loved the way it felt on the skin. It just wasn’t right for me :( I gave it to my grandma and she said it gave her a little relief though so I think that shows that just because it doesn’t work for me it doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this stuff, I feel like the more that I use it the more effective it is. The smell doesn’t bother me, and it’s easy to get out of the tube. It rubs in quickly and doesn’t feel extra sticky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this on my knees and I started to see slight results on day one but after about a week or so, I could really notice the difference while using it. My knees don’t ache or hurt as much as before! The only scent I guess you could call it is sorta like a medicine smell if that makes sense. I like that the measurement stick is included to help with the dosage on different areas.

I've been using Voltaren to help moderate back pain which seems to flare up with over exertion & due to mild arthritis. I did experience some relief which is helpful.It seems to most effective for me when alternately using a heat treatment such as a heating pad.
