If you are going to use this product, make sure you read the directions carefully and only apply it to the body parts that are specified on the box. I didn't notice any sort of smell to it and it worked within a few hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Voltaren worked moderately to stop the pain. The product applied smoothly and did not leave a greasy residue. The scent was tolerable and not overpowering. Did help alleviate some pain between cortisone shots.

I gave this to my 79 year old mother to try and she was not impressed with this. First the warnings and side effects on the box were a little alarming and then that it could take weeks for it to be effective was not very favorable. She prefers something that can provide instant relief when she's feeling her arthritic pain.

The gel absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave greasy residue. After applying it to his sore joints, he felt a noticeable reduction in pain and stiffness, especially in his knees. After using it for a week, he noticed immediate relief, and the pain relief lasted for several hours. As for the smell, it’s not very strong, so it can be used daily without being overwhelming. I would definitely recommend it to others suffering from arthritis pain.

The scent is light and it absorbs well. This gel works great to relieve pain and it is also a great value for my money.
