The gel goes on very easily and worked right away as I immediately felt relief from the pain in my knees. There is a dosing card to assist you in how much to apply so I really appreciated this feature. Pain relief is so important to me because it makes exercise so much easier. I also like that I can get this without a prescription.

The only difference that I noticed is that the scent wasn't as strong as the other brands are. It was actually not very noticeable while wearing it. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation and works best on small joints. Voltaren topical gel is not for immediate relief and may take up to 7 days to work. And that's the issue, I take 800mg ibuprofen almost daily to relieve symptoms and with the recommended dose of this gel can't wait for results. The recommended dose is quite a lot and the tube would be used up in a week.
