I don’t like to keep the packaging, because it’s bulky. I think that’s inconvenient. Absorbs fine. Scent is actually not bad.

I have used Voltaren for one week and I can't believe how effective it is on my arthritic knee! Just a few days ago I was in horrific pain, unable to walk, holding onto furniture and walls just to get across a room. In the past two days, I have ridden a bicycle, hauled a load of laundry down 2 flights of stairs, and walk along the beach. My pain is gone -- my condition was "bone on bone" and now, if anything, it's just a slight occasional twinge. Voltaren is amazing ... you must try it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy it is to flip open the top with my thumb. I prefer topical pain solutions as I am not supposed to take NSAIDS. My doctor has okayed topical pain relief for when I have arthritis pain. I saw a lot of reviews saying this had a strong smell, but mine doesn't. It has a light to medium scent that dissipates quickly. The gel also absorbs into my skin very quickly.

I am a sufferer of arthritis. I am currently 51 year old woman that is severely impaired by arthritic pain. I had a knee replacement done a year and a half ago, and need to have the other knee done as well. Just recently I went to visit my daughter. I will spend two weeks with her at a time. So I was unable to climb her stairs to the second story of her home due to the excruciating pain. My daughter had read articles on the Voltaren and went out and bought me a tube. I used it twice a day and I swear on everything, it did not ease my pain at all.
