It relieves the stiffness and aches quickly without any greasy residue or strong smell, which is perfect since I’m constantly working with clients. I’ve had pain in my hand for sometime, using the Voltaren gel has numbed the pain. It’s temporary and the pain is never completely gone. It’s a great solution for pain treatment at the moment. The gel itself smells of menthol, it’s strong for me. It doesn’t burn, but has a tingly feel to it. I apply as needed, and wrap after the application. I’ll continue to use Voltaren as it does relieve some pain and discomfort.

This is really one of the only over the counter pain relievers that work on my hands. I have used my hands my strenuously for work over the past 20 years and it finally started taking a toll on me. This works great for arthritis pains within minutes of you applying it to the affected area. I always make sure I have a bottle of Voltaren available and would honestly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this arthritis gel to be interesting because it comes with a dosing card, to ensure that you are applying the correct amount in order to get the best results. I have never seen a dosing card before, so I feel like that is a great touch. For me the tube was easy to twist open, and in order to get the tube to open the safety seal you turn the cap upside down and easily twist it and boom its open and ready to use. It is easy to squeeze to get the product out for use. As far as the smell, I found it to be subtle on the nose and not overly strong, it does not give off an overly medicated scent to it when opening it or when you use it the smell does not linger onto you. The recommendation is four times a day, so when using the recommended dosage, you will find yourself going through the product rather quickly, but for me I have noticed that when I apply it a few times a day to my knee, I have experienced less pain and I have been able to move around a bit more through the day with way less pain. Now keep in mind it does contain NSAIDs, so it says to check with your doctor before using it with other NSAID medications like ibuprofen, naproxen, etc. so make sure you check before adding this to your routine.

I used this lotion and rub it on my wrists and hands. I overuse the computer keyboard at work and I have found that it really helps with stiffness. Worth every penny this product costs.

This product did not have a strong scent and I did notice it went into the skin nicely, it did not leave me sticky.
