I particularly like the easy flip cap, which makes it simple to use without getting my fingers too greasy. The gel absorbs fairly quickly, but it can feel very greasy at first—especially if you have hairy legs, so keep that in mind. I’ve used it on my knees before running, and it does a decent job of providing relief. It’s a solid option for managing arthritis pain in targeted areas. 4/5 stars!

I tried it on my knees, as directed. The scent is light and the gel is more like a cream. It absorbed into the skin quickly. Voltaren did help a little, but only for about an hour. I really expected it to work longer, which I need. Very disappointed.

Definitely talk to your doctor and pay strict attention to the dosage requirements. But this stuff really helps with joint pain. My husband even used it for an issue he was having with his right foot, and he now swears by it. It’s a light gel that sinks in to the skin easily, it doesn’t have a noticeable tingle or burn.

Voltaren arthritis pain gel is is a great alternative to using an oral medication that can cause G.I. upset. It gives you relief from the pain without some of the unwanted side effects. It’s also super easy to use and doesn’t require swallowing a pill. I have used prescription strength forms of this medication in the past and I really like that you can get Voltaren over-the-counter without a prescription. I would definitely recommend to anyone that has joint pain as long as they are able to use NSAIDS.
