It provides noticeable relief for soreness and stiffness, especially after long days or workouts, without leaving a greasy residue or strong smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You spread the gel on the dosing card prior to applying it on the area. I use it on my ankles, feet, and knees. It calms and soothes the pain with some relief but if course it is not quick or long lasting. It does help before bed imo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping Voltaren would give some relief, but honestly it didn’t do much for us. The instructions were confusing right from the start. It says you can only use it on “no more than two body parts” for 7 days straight. She has arthritis in both knees, her wrist, and her elbows, so we weren’t sure what counted as a “body part.” Do both knees count as one area? Or is it literally one knee = one area and one wrist = the second? There’s no clear guidance, and for people actually dealing with pain in multiple joints, that makes it harder to know how to use it correctly. Even after following the directions as closely as possible, there really wasn’t much improvement. The only thing she felt was a warming sensation, similar to Ben Gay or other typical over-the-counter cream options. But the warm feeling didn’t turn into actual pain relief or reduce any discomfort in the joints. We used it consistently for the full 7 days just to give it a fair chance, and still no noticeable difference. For the price and the way it’s marketed, I expected at least some temporary relief, even if minor. If I’m recommending an OTC product to someone dealing with arthritis, I want something that actually helps hold them over until they can get treatment from their doctor. Unfortunately, Voltaren didn’t do that for her. It may work for others, but based on our real experience, it just wasn’t effective and didn’t live up to the expectations.

This has a slight menthol scent that dissolves right into your skin with the scent not at all noticeable within minutes. I will continue to use this on my sore joints. I appreciate the opportunity to give this a try.
