Tylenol has always been the go to for my family growing up when it comes to headaches and pain relief. Every time I’ve taken it, it’s helped in a big way and the pain is always gone within 2 hours or so. I didn’t notice any side effects personally, the only recommendation would be to not take this on an empty stomach, as you may upset it. It’s good value for the money as it’s about the best painkiller on the market in my opinion. It’s a lot more potent and effective than generic great value drug store brands, it’s worth getting the name brand in this case. My best example of this was when I got my wisdom teeth removed, and the generic brand pain relievers weren’t doing the trick. So, I ended up taking tylenol that was stashed in my grandparents medicine cabinet and the pain was almost instantly gone within an hour of taking it. Thank you tylenol for taking that wisdom tooth pain away, it would’ve been miserable without the tylenol.

The only con is, you need to remember not to take more than 4 grams (about 8 pills of 500 mg caplets) of this in a day, and I would not even recommend going into that threshold. Taking too many of this can cause liver toxicity, so you want to be careful of that. Two pills are usually enough in a day to take care of whatever pain you have. It’s affordable, it works well with a very few amount of pills, and it poses very little side effects if taken correctly.

In my home, I usually made sure we had a pack of this in our medicine cabinet. We try our best to avoid taking a lot of medicine. But there has been a time when we felt that headache and pain that refused to go away after getting some rest, and we took the Tylenol Extra strength and felt the much-needed relief.

I actually find these to be effective for pain relief which is awesome since many don’t work for me. They also work pretty fast and I find I don’t have to take as often throughout the day as other brands. Only wish they were a bit smaller to be easier to swallow.

The ingredients are listed on the packaging so you should read those and consult your doctor if you are on other medications to make sure it’s safe and what the side effects are. As with all things these days is anything really stack up to value for our money. If it’s on sale sure!
