I've had allergy's all my life. I lived in MA and when I went to RI the maple trees did me in. I am allergic to cats so I wound never enter a house with a cat. I have taken Allegra by prescription and Claritin. I have found with everything being OVC that the Zyrtec actually works the best. It stops the sneezing and the itchy eyes. Out of the three it works the best

I have been allergic (an as well as severe asthma. Zertec, changed my life. I love animals and I'm having no reaction to any fuzzy animal (cats, dogs.... etc. I couldn't be in a house with a cat before, I'd either have to cancel my plans (because I was going to someone's home for dinner and fun. I have been living with 3 cats... I have NO symptoms at all! The BEST on the market!! Thank you

While Zyrtec does treat my allergy symptoms, the active ingredient, cetirizine, causes terrible itches all over my body a day after I stop taking it. There was no warning about becoming dependent on the packaging, but there are numerous studies, and countless Reddit posts documenting the chance of withdrawal from Zyrtec that you can read for yourself.

I have been taking Zyrtec for years for my seasonal allergies. It does not make me drowsy and I am symptom free all day long. It works quickly and helps me stay clear from sneezing and nasal/head congestion. I have tried Claritin which is not effective at all. This product has helped me the most and I recommend it to everyone!

I really like the zyrtec tabs. They work really fast and give good relief. They are also cheaper than other brands so it works better for my budget. I recommend these to anyone who wants help for allergies quickly without waiting a day or two to get it into your system.

CONSUMERS BEWARE OF SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS IF STOPPING ZYRTEC. I am currently suffering debilitating itching, hives and welts after recently stopping Zyrtec on October 20, 2024. I had been instructed to stop taking Zyrtec in anticipation of allergy testing. After 2 days I thought I was stung by a bee only to discover terrible itching on my legs which has worsened to many other parts of my body. I am currently on day six of stopping Zyrtec and this horrible situation is continuing. I suggest consumers go to www.peoplespharmacy.com and put Zyrtec into the search bar. You will also find a reference to an NIH study which apparently resulted in the FDA adding a label to PERSCRIPTION Zyrtec that includes a warning about this possible side effect when stopping Zyrtec. BUT MILLIONS use OTC (Over the Counter) Zyrtec and there is NO WARNING ON THE OTC. Shame on you KENVUE (NYSE: KVUE) which was spun off from Johnson & Johnson in 2023 for ignoring these complaints which they undoubtedly are aware of and not providing a warning on the OTC label. Zyrtec is a BILLION dollar global business for Kenvue. I intend to file a claim with the FDA’s MedWatch Reporting system you can find at www.FDA.gov and pursue all avenues to help other consumers avoid the suffering so many of us are going through or have gone through.

Whenever it is allergy season, windy, or I feel congested, Zyrtec clears me up. When I forget to take it, there is a noticeable and uncomfortable difference. It is fairly priced for the quality. I would buy it any day I needed to or run low without question.

I was prescribed Zyrtec before Zyrtec was OTC. It did a very good job of helping me cope with my many allergies. Over a period of years, literally, my body became accustomed to it and it wasn’t working is effectively. I stopped using it and sometime later started taking it again. It is a good product. It does what it’s supposed to do.

I have taken this each fall for years. I usually begin it when I have a 2-week window to adjust to it. It causes me to sleep hard at night, and have a hungover feeling for almost 2 weeks. After that, I have no side effects. I tried Claritin before trying this medication, with no improvement.

First, I want to say that I'm sure, as with all drugs, not everyone experiences negative side effects. I'm sorry those that have are suffering. I took Zyrtec for 20+ years, stopped for a year and the only result was a runny nose from sinus drainage. I have recently started it again with the same great results as before.
