I have had 2 cats and never been allergic to them. We just adopted a cat and I seem to be allergic to her. I bought Zyrtec and have taken as directed for 5 days. It has not helped at all. I have itchy eyes, runny nose and the top of my mouth itches. Can I take 2 tablets?

I started taking Zyrtec for my summer and fall allergies. It worked wonders! But then, I tried to stop. 2 days after I stopped taking the pills, I started to itch. Day 3 and the itch is so bad that I'm scratching myself raw and starting to get hives. I gave in day 4 and took a zyrtec. There were no warning notices on the packaging, but after I figured out my problem, I found many others who have had the same problem. Zyrtec should warn people! This is excruciating, and I don't want to be on this pill forever!

The product is great this packaging is the worst. Allergy season is over before you find scissors or a knife and stab open the pouch then fling the pill across the kitchen and crawl on hands and knees to find it just to realize your vacuum isnt working as well as you thought.

I have been using Zyrtec for years. I have perennial allergies which cause me to have a lot of discomfort in my right ear. After trying just about everything out there (prescription and over the counter) I finally went to a specialist who told me I needed Zyrtec to pop my ear drum and relieve the pressure. I have been using it ever since and always recommend the product whenever I can.

Zyrtec is the only allergy medicine for me! I have asthma and severe allergies, and I live in the desert where I'm allergic to everything. I'm also allergic to household pets! When I take Zyrtec every day, I can breathe. When I don't, if I miss a day or two, I cannot breathe. I have to hit my emergency inhaler, and I usually break out in hives. I think Benadryl Allergy Ultratab Tablets are better for total relief but, the Zyrtec 24 Hour Allergy Relief Tablets Cetirizine Hcl 14Ct don’t put me to sleep and I can still function while getting relief!
