Please carry this product

Until this week, our local Sam's CLub carried the Old Fashioned Quaker Oats; these are better tasting than quick Oats, take only a few minutes longer and are better for you nutritionally. Please stock these again ASAP.

Absolutely love the old-fashioned Quaker oats… I wish the store in Panama City Florida had the old-fashioned oats for some reason they stopped carrying them… The instant oats are like eating mush….

Not Like It Used To Be

Used to be great but now is awful. Doesn't cook up and always lots of water left since it doesn't absorb. Oatmeal is chewy and have to carefully chew every bite.

Overnight method

Overnight oats Are the best. Put half cup of oats with half cup of milk in glass container, cover and put in the fridge overnight....I like them cold but you can warm them in the microwave...put whatever toppings you like and enjoy

Verified Purchase

Not sure this is Oatmeal

I felt like this box of oats was not like the others boxes of this same type. It takes forever to cook and I follow the directions. Even after 5 minutes it still has a uncooked consistency.

Broken seal

I love the product and I have been buying it for years but this last purchase was very disappointing because the security seal was broken and makes me doubt about how safe the product is. I didn't wanted to make a trip back to the store and request a change but definitely is something that needs to be addressed.

No more...

After making oatmeal for 50 year using Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, I must find a replacement product. The changes Quaker has made to this product make the product worthless. I'll watch for Quaker to make an announcement acknowledging this mistake and announcing a return to original processing - then maybe I'll come back.

Contains Glyphosate

I have eaten this product at breakfast for years. Per the above star ratings, it tastes good and has many pluses. The problem. I just discovered that most oatmeal brands contain glyphosate (think Roundup) and Quaker products have some of the highest levels. That's unacceptable.

My husband hates the changes to old fashion oats

I would leave minus stars if I could. My husband says the change is so dramatic he wondered if our microwave was broken. The oats are watery and will nit absorb moisture regardless of the cooking time. Texture and taste are both different than in years past. We have been eating the old fashioned oats for years so we can definitely tell they are different. After reading these reviews he knows it isn't the microwave, or him. He says he will not buy these again.

Something has changed.

Been eating every morning for the past 4 years and something changed. They are either thicker and or steamed less than before because my cooking method has not changed. They are chewy and do not absorb the water used in cooking and I have not changed the cooking method. Tried using less water and longer cooking time to no avail. Will have to look for a different brand.
