The packaging is substandard the product is not protected properly , and it’s exposed to elements before it reaches the consumer thus creating fungai in the product and sometimes germinate the moth which shows the old stale product is packaged with the date of packing regardless how old the product is . Edible food must have date of harvest and processing to let the consumer know that they are eating a stale product so they can safeguard them selves for the products on sale oatmeal

i mainly use this product for my gerbil breeding program. it makes up nearly 50 percent of their diet. the flakes are large and they can hold them easily when eating. when i remove the lid and plastic seal they can use the containers for housing and to chew on. i also use this product to bake oatmeal raisin cookies for the humans in my house đŸ˜‹

I don’t usually write reviews but Walmart asked me too, so what the heck. Imagine my complete lack of surprise when I opened the top of the package to find the container filled with whole grain oatmeal, identical in size, smell and texture to the 100s of other times I’ve bought the same thing. Having now cooked the entire package, I can say with certainty that mixing the ingredients with the amount of water and cooking it for the time indicated in the instructions results in hot oatmeal. If you like that, you’ll like this. If you don’t, I would stay away from this product, since it has very few other uses.
