- 5 out of 5 stars review11/14/2015My daughter and I absolutely love Quaker Old Fashioned Oats especially when I make it for our breakfast during the week when I feel we need something to hold us until lunch time. This is a wonderful breakfast with brown sugar, raisins, flax seed, a few drops of cream and squeeze of lemon . Yum!
We love it!
em2ctOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/23/2021These are my favorite go to oats. Honestly I haven't tried any others in a long time because Quaker is just “the” brand that I trust. I know they will be good quality and good tasting oats. And I like that they are easy to cook for my kids and me alike.
These are my favorite
jessicas1017_4201Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/17/2021I love oatmeal and eat it several times a week. I only buy Quaker Oats. It's what I grew up eating. The old fashioned is my favorite because it doesn't do that mushy slimy thing that most people associate oatmeal with. It's always a staple on my shelf
I love oatmeal and
randij7Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/3/2015My grandmother was a health nut and I remember that she would slowly cook oats in a covered pot. When the oats were cooked to a nearly smooth texture, we would add a small pat of butter, a half spoon of honey, and a teaspoon of wheat germ for a nutty flavor. Nowadays, I can just add butter, applesauce and cinnamon for a just right meal.
I have loved Quaker Oats for 58 years:)

I need to be able to make breakfast fast. I do not want to compromise on health, I still want to give them something that is going to keep them full and nourish them throughout the day. Quakeroats is perfect for that. I can make a quick bowl of oatmeal for my family and everyone is eating fast and its healthy. We love the single serve packets because everyone can choose their own flavor. The bonus is there is also not alot of mess in the making, so clean-up is fast and easy to. I did receive new Quaker Steel Cut Quick 3-Minute Oatmeal for a promotion from the brand.
the whole family loves quaker oats for breakfast.
mariamettheOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/24/2015Warm, filling, can add any fruit and nuts that you like to increase the hardiness and nutrition! The easy carry instant packages are low carb and with added milk, satisfying for breakfast or mid day snack. The smells of cinnamon and spice fill my office and wake up other people's hunger, and easy to share.
Great nutritious snack for any time of day

I don't care how much you have to pay him, just make it happen. Seriously, if you manage to get him to return, I will be the happiest person in the world. Diabeetus.
Bring back Wilford Brimley
pigeon12Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/18/2023I have been eating these oats for years, and until the last purchase (big box at a nationwide club", they cooked very consistently to a nice texture. All of a sudden, no mater how long you cook these, they are much more firm and chewy. They also seem a bit darker, but could be non-thing. Several other reviews are the same, something changed! I also cook these in the microwave mostly, but stove top yields the same chewy bowl of oats.
Something has changed recently
RobTxsOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/26/2017I grew up on Quaker Oats, It is a great source of energy, warms you up on cold days, and keeps you from feeling hungry longer that most cereals. There are a variety of ways to use the oats, and my doctor recommends them to keep my ch cholesterol in check.
Delicious!
DonateLifeOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/11/2016Old Fashioned Quaker Oats, besides being great tasting, is an easy to prepare, versatile product. It gives body to meatloaf, works as a topping for fruit desserts, works with flour or bread crumbs to make a crunchy coating, is wonderful hot with fruits and other toss-ins. Healthy, too!
Can't beat an original!
Junovia 179Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review8/11/2025I love the product and I have been buying it for years but this last purchase was very disappointing because the security seal was broken and makes me doubt about how safe the product is. I didn't wanted to make a trip back to the store and request a change but definitely is something that needs to be addressed.

MarlyOriginally posted onwalmart.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/9/2015I have been taking oatmeal to work for quite some time now. I haven't seen any combos for it so here is what I do. My wife picked me up a 17 oz wide mouth Stanley thermos. it works great. 1 cup old fashion oats 1 cup hot water (insta-hot) anything else that sounds good peanut butter marshmellow berrys nuts honey let your imagination run wild . Never been disapointed
oatmeal on the go

Add a tablespoon of Almond butter and mash a fresh banana then add a little Almond Milk. Rich in Antioxidants, Contain a Powerful Soluble Fiber Called Beta-Glucan, a type of soluble fiber. Kona KikaOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 3 out of 5 stars review11/8/2014The last container of Quaker Old Fashioned Oats I purchased did not have the plastic rim around the top of the container. I nearly spilled my oats in my cupboard this morning when I grabbed the container and started lifting it up and off the shelf! I transferred the oats into a food storage container so this won't happen again. However, I am frustrated that I had to do that and curious as to why the company would change its packaging. I haven't decided if I'll buy this brand again since I have found cheaper brands to be just as satisfying as Quaker and have better packaging.
Packaging issue
Oatmeal DailyOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/29/2014I am writing regarding the pull top. It should be redesigned. It is very difficult to try to pull the top off. When it finally does pull off everything pulls off the whole thing. Then every morning I have to push the plastic ring down all the way around the top of the box and then push the lid down. It's not good, A waste of time and frustrating to me every morning. Also, your Questions and Comments phone number 1-800-367-6287 is incorrect. I called to talk to a rep. regarding these problems and left a message. I received a call from another company saying Quaker Oats did not receive my message and that they get these calls all the time. You definitely have to do something about this problem. Then I tried to find another number on your webs...
I eat the Old Fashioned every morning and love it.
netterOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review5/6/2016We have been faithful buyers and consumers of Old Fashion Quaker Oats. In April we purchased in Southern California a large box of the Old Fashion Quaker Oats. It was completely different and completely changed. We returned to South Carolina and found the same problem with a new batch/box we bought. So, this was not just a bad batch we had in California! Quaker Oats Company has changed the Old Fashion Oats! WHY? WHY? We have cooked and prepared the oats exactly the same ways for years. Now the Oats come out gooey and glutenous - all mush. The oats cooks faster almost like instant oats (we know the difference) and it is very upsetting. We must now look around for another brand. It would be very nice to hear from Quaker Oats about what has cha...

IngeOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/8/2018Thanks, Quaker Oats, for providing an economical and nutritious product. Versatile and easy to prepare you are a great American success story. I eat mine from the microwave with a dash of brown sugar and maybe some Stevia. I love it. The product is always fresh and in any supermarket I visit. God Bless. John 3:16.
Thanks for a good product
MiggyOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2023Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oat meal is my go to breakfast dish. I cook the oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries (fresh or frozen) and then top with chopped walnuts and honey once in the bowl. I like to eat about a cup (dry) of oatmeal as I find it very filling. Giving I'm on a heart healthy diet, I appreciate the value of having Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oatmeal available for breakfast.
Excellent Breakfast Food
Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/26/2021I have used this recipe for many, many years, introducing and sharing the special goodness with my grandchildren, making the cookies a special request often. The "Enticer" for me is the cakey side of the cookies (that, to my chagrin, some reviewers I've come across find unappealing) which is what sets them on a pedestal far above any other oatmeal cookies for me. It's only since retiring that I am finding the missed opportunities to give credits where credits are due. I don't have any creative experiences that I see others have wonderfully shared, except that I substitute an abundant amount of walnuts for the raisins and most recently substituted baking powder for baking soda - 3 tsp. powder for 1 tsp. of soda - to make bars instead of cook...

LINDY1Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2016My family is working towards being Heart Healthy first thing in the morning, by eating Quaker Oats. It is the best of kind of "comfort food" especially when we add food items that extend our enjoyment with the things we do individually do to enhance our tastebuds; I enjoy fruit, nuts, and added grains.
