The best oats and probably the only ones I will ever buy. Always have a great texture when used for oatmeal, and turn out perfectly when used for baking in cookies, muffins. etc. Such a great product.

The oats in their new production will no longer cook up and absorb the water to become oatmeal…they just sit in the water no matter how long you microwave them, and are chewy and bad. I can’t even eat them anymore.

My last few purchases have contained hard shells or husks. I thought it may processing issue but there are husks in every bowl. I will try a different brand for my next purchase.

I love using quaker oats to make my topping for apple crisp. Just soften butter, add flour, cinnamon and quaker oats. Mix till crumbly and put on top of sliced apples. Of course you can't go wrong eating it plain for breakfast.
