We eat oatmeal maybe 3 mornings a week. We love the taste and texture of the old fashioned oats. And when I can get my wife to make oatmeal cookies she uses the old fashioned oats. Very good taste and freshness.

My last few purchases have contained hard shells or husks. I thought it may processing issue but there are husks in every bowl. I will try a different brand for my next purchase.

I have always eaten and loved old fashioned Quaker Oats, however I feel like something has changed. It is mushy now. The recipe now calls for 5 minute cook and it used to be 15 minutes. What has changed?

Love the old fashion Quaker Oats. I have the quick minute as well and tend to use the old-fashioned oats more to make bread and bake with. sometimes a slow cook is just what is needed for cooking. Definitely try a honey oat bread with these!!
