Quaker old fashioned oat are awesome

I love quaker old fashioned oats I eat them daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and or a snack. I eat them with fruit, spices, and or with savory items. My favorite is with fresh cramberries cooked right in with the oatmeal with spices and or with egg whites mixxed in with oatmeal and hot sauce. I eat them any way sweetness and or savory. I lost 125 pounds and with enjoying this this has helped me!!!

One of my go to breakfast items! I’ve been trying to eat healthier lately and these oats are amazing! I’ve mixed them into smoothies, had them with banana slices, and used them for some very tasty and aesthetic oatmeal (see pic). Highly recommend! Quaker Oats Old Fashioned #HealthySnacks

These are my favorite

These are my favorite go to oats. Honestly I haven’t tried any others in a long time because Quaker is just “the” brand that I trust. I know they will be good quality and good tasting oats. And I like that they are easy to cook for my kids and me alike.

Breakfast With a Smile

I enjoy my traditional style oatmeal because its a simple but versatile start to my day. I love adding different ingredients such as fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts and granola. Oatmeal is healthy, fulfilling and does not take much time to prep. This product is high in fiber, maintain one's weight and is a good diet contributor. This is why I wake in the morning with a smile.

I never liked Oatmeal as a kid, it just wasn’t a meal option for us growing up in a traditional Hispanic household. As an adult, I grew to appreciate and love oatmeal when I wanted to lose weight and was told of the benefits of oatmeal. Heart healthy, full of fiber, helps in digestion, etc. I like mine pretty simple cooked in water and then I add a dash of unsweetened almond milk, banana or berries, cinnamon, and a dollop of natural peanut butter for a balanced healthy breakfast.

Just one problem

Obviously, this is a great product; but, the packaging is a problem because the bottom of the container is not firmly attached to the sides. The result is that if the product is shipped without bubble wrap, it will rupture easily. Memo to Pepsi is to improve packaging of the product. Memo to Walmart is to use bubble wrap for cushioning rather than gobs of paper.

Something changed

The most recent package does not cook up the way previous ones did. After 6 minutes on the stove top on medium, the oats are still a little hard and have not fully absorbed the liquid. I see many other reviewers are having this issue as well. I hope this is a temporary issue and not a permanent change.

I'm dissapointed

I have been using Quaker Oats for over 60 years. Last month I bought a new box and it did not cook right. I threw it out & got a new box, same thing, the texture is not what it always was. I cooked oatmeal for my family for a lot of years, but I am concerned. Do you have a solution? What is different?
