I used to buy this product to feed my kids 20 years ago, but no so much after they weren’t small kids. Recently, I have purchased it again a few times but noticed the maple odor is extreme and permeates everything in the house, microwave, clothing. It concerns me that it has a stronger maple odor than maple syrup itself, as if it is likely chemicals. The strength of the odor makes me lose my appetite and makes me worried to put that in my body. I will no longer buy this product.

I love the maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal. It gives me energy and it's quick and very easy to prepare. Therefore, know one has an excuse for not starting their day with Quaker Oats hot cereal. I have a Quaker Oats jingle song I wrote and I sing it every morning when I eat my breakfast.

I love having this for breakfast 5 days a week and it is so good that there have been times i have it for a snack. The texture is perfect. It is not over-powering with the sugar which is something i appreciate. I am so confident in this oatmeal that it is the only one i have ever fed my grand children and just like granny they love it.

Never could get my son to try oatmeal, then at 14 he finally tried my Quaker Instant Oatmeal- Maple and Brown Sugar. He loves it, I asked him why he finally tried it and why he eats it so much ? He said, he tried it because at the moment it was the only easy looking thing to fix and he was hungry. But he found he love the taste of the maple with brown sugar in the oatmeal, it satisfies his hunger and it is easy to prepare. Now I can't keep it in the house, he is a growing boy! I love the fact it's not loaded with needless calories without any protein or something to help fill him up between meals that is healthier and stays with him. At 14 he is a eating machine.I don't let him have sodas except special occasions and holidays. He drinks a lot of water and milk. I am glad he has finally found Quaker Instant Oatmeal!

I'm very upset. I've bought this Quaker Instant Oatmeal Maple Brown Sugar on several occasion and to find that my oatmeal all ten bags had small holes in them due to bugs. I'm very dissatisfied and upset that I have to walk across the street in the cold and buy breakfast because my oatmeal has been infested with bugs. If i could i would upload the video and picture to this review but i did post it on Facebook.

I love this oatmeal. It is so very delicious. The smell warms the halls at work. It is my favorite. I have been eating this oatmeal for more than 10 years. I tried the weight control version and it has a horrible after taste. I love love love maple and brown sugar quakeroats. I really recommend you try it. You will not be disappointed.

I just purchased a box of the low sugar maple brown sugar oatmeal and noticed the box has changed, red flag! I cooked the oatmeal as I have the last several years and it was a bowl of white mush. The sweetness has gone, the texture is mushier and color is a lot lighter. To me that can only mean 1 thing, the brand has cheapened the product. Will not purchase again. Sad to see this, I did love the oatmeal for breakfast.

Why didn’t the Canadian recipe change? Seems only USA proucts go through recipe changes.

The flavor sucks. Why screw up a good thing? Bring back the original recipe.
