I would have given this zero stars if I could have. I have been eating this for 40 years and they decided to change the recipe for whatever reason, and I'm going to have to throw it away now. It's horrible, and not delicious and comforting like it used to be.

What in the world is it being flavored with!? After a day and a half and two showers, I still smell like this stuff, like the maple brown sugar smell is still coming off my skin. I'm a little concerned about it. It tastes so good, but it's weird smelling like my breakfast all day.

The new recipe is quite a bit different than the old one. It tastes a lot more like stove top oatmeal. It's got a lot more texture, which some instant oatmeal eaters might not like. I like that it's not as mushy as before. It also tastes a little less sweet, and it took a little longer for the oats to cook all the way.

The lower sugar maple and brown sugar change is awful. It smells like celery and the smell doesn't leave my hands after opening the packet. No matter how many times I wash. I will not be buying this anymore. It was my daily breakfast. Bye-bye Quaker. Shame.

This is the best oatmeal ever. However I don't make it the usual way I simply e Heat up some water and add just a little bit of hot water. It keeps it from getting that thick mushy oatmeal texture. My brother and sister in law tried it like that and they begged me to make it like that for them. The best ever :)

I used to eat instant oatmeal all the time, but I just can't bring myself to buy it since the recipe changes. I bought a new box recently in hopes it has changed back or was a "bad batch" no such luck. Very disappointed and glad to see I am not the only one. I will not be purchasing this product again unless the recipe is changed back or fixed.

I enjoyed Quaker Oats maple oatmeal every morning at work. My coworker smell it cooking when I put it in the microwave to warm it up and they always ask what is that. And I tell him Quaker Oats maple oatmeal. I can't I cannot start my day without it.

Maple brown sugar is my favorite, I enjoy it with milk. I tend to like my breakfast quick and easy and filling. Rather it is instant or regular, nutrition is the key part of my breakfast. These are the reasons why I choose Quaker oats instant hot cereals.

I have heard about overnight oats for a long time and kept thing, "what's the hype all about?" I finally broke down and bought the biggest canister of Quaker Oats (rolled) that I could find. I am SOOO glad I did! The oats are SOOO good this way that I can't stop inventing/reading new recipes on different ways to make them! This will be a staple in my house for years to come and being from Akron, OH (original home of Quaker Oats,) I am loyal to the brand and very happy with the quality. This is a "Quaker" house. Always was, and always will be! Thanks!

I had not bought this for a while as my family was eating the unflavored one. Since maple brown sugar had always been my favorite, I decided to treat myself and bought a box. It tasted AWFUL, left a metallic taste in my mouth. The vile dark brown color is anything but appetizing and I go back to the taste: It's nearly inedible. I cannot imagine eating any more of what's left in the box or even considering buying it again.
