I just wanted to say thank you for your instant maple and brown sugar oatmeal. My son is 3 years old and has non verbal Autism, he is legally blind, and is allergic to dairy ( has an epi pen not lactose intolerant). He only will eat 3 different foods for me which are your oatmeal, pretzels, and microwavable french toast sticks. This oatmeal has helped keep him to grow better an be healthy. As a Mom I worry about him 24/7 but knowing he eats this oatmeal it helps me to relax more knowing it is so good for him and he actually enjoys eating it. Not to mention it only takes 1 min. to make which is great when I have a child that hates to wait for his food. Thank you again!

Oatmeal itself is a very good nutritional meal. As one looks at the ingredient list and the packaged oatmeal you’ll find many added ingredients that are known not to be so healthy. One of them is specifically sugar which has got 7 g. I would Suggest using regular oatmeal without all the extras

Maybe the company can answer this problem. Why on Earth after eating Maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal meal that I smelled like it for a whole day. Even when I woke up after brushing my teeth at night my mouth still tasted like maple syrup. Why is this. I read others complaining about this as well

I thought it was me! I agree wholeheartedly with the other comments. I do not like this new taste or texture. After years and years of eating Maple and Brown Sugar, I'm finishing off my current box and then no more. I'm so disappointed because there is nothing like a cup of oatmeal on a cold fall/winter morning. Ugh!! Change the recipe back, please!!!

I have loved maple and brown sugar since a kid (way to long ago). The last two boxes I purchased have zero maple or brown sugar flavor. Basically tastes like unflavored oatmeal. I tried generic and it tastes better. Don't know if it was a bad batch, they are cutting costs or if the "Health" police made them remove the sugar. But I will not be buying again.

Every time Quaker changes the recipe, it sucks. Nobody want nasty tasting oatmeal. Bring back the original please. Will not purchase new recipe again. Very disappointed. Been eating for over 30 years (except when the recipe gets changed). No longer interested.

I love it too, but I usually cook the long cooking kind or the steel cut. So good & good for us. I am 82 & grew up on Quaker Oats, with 6 siblings, it was easy & economically for our Mom to,cook a big pot of oatmeal!!! We who are still living still love it!!!!

Never could get my son to try oatmeal, then at 14 he finally tried my Quaker Instant Oatmeal- Maple and Brown Sugar. He loves it, I asked him why he finally tried it and why he eats it so much ? He said, he tried it because at the moment it was the only easy looking thing to fix and he was hungry. But he found he love the taste of the maple with brown sugar in the oatmeal, it satisfies his hunger and it is easy to prepare. Now I can't keep it in the house, he is a growing boy! I love the fact it's not loaded with needless calories without any protein or something to help fill him up between meals that is healthier and stays with him. At 14 he is a eating machine.I don't let him have sodas except special occasions and holidays. He drinks a lot of water and milk. I am glad he has finally found Quaker Instant Oatmeal!

I just purchased a box of the low sugar maple brown sugar oatmeal and noticed the box has changed, red flag! I cooked the oatmeal as I have the last several years and it was a bowl of white mush. The sweetness has gone, the texture is mushier and color is a lot lighter. To me that can only mean 1 thing, the brand has cheapened the product. Will not purchase again. Sad to see this, I did love the oatmeal for breakfast.

We've been eating maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal for years we all loved it, however, in the last couple months every box we've bought has tasted bland and disgusting. We thought it was maybe a bad box until it happened again and again. Im not sure if quaker has changed the formula or what but we are no longer fans.
